"Thank you!" to everyone for the warm welcome and kind words!  It is lovely to hear from old friends like CountBogro, playmofire, Sylvia, socrates, Martin Milner, Richard, Tiermann, as well as new acquaintaince Janice ( Hi Janice - as you probably already know this is a great group of people!)

Sylvia, thank you so much for finding my avatar in larger form.  I can't believe that it was so long ago (2002 :(o): ) when I first met you in the online Playmo community.  Then, as now, you were always quick to offer friendship and aid to those in need and I am especially grateful to you for making me feel so welcome once again.

You picked a really interesting and very exciting time to return.

As you've probably already noticed, Playmofriends is continuing to grow. Not just in numbers, but with lots of wonderful new members.
And, Playmobil is producing great new sets faster than most of us can find the money to buy them (or the places to put them) ...

Richard, you are so right on all counts!   :yup:  I confess that some of my renewed interest in Playmobil is due to the magnificent new Egyptian theme (in fact, I even registered on the German Klickywelt forum so that I could see the first photos there.)  But, more importantly, I missed the conversation.  Even though you haven't heard from me in a long time, I have nonetheless had the pleasure of all your company when I would occasionally pop in as a guest just to see what was going on.  It has always given me great pleasure to see how successful and interesting Playmofriends has become.   :wow:

I have a lot of catching up to do  :o  but it will be a pleasure!

Yes, I am also known as yrragnwad, or rather we are known as yrragnwad.

The name yrragnwad is just Dawn and Garry put together and written backwards.

Hello Indianna from SC.
A very interesting history you have posted! I just recently joined this forum, & to my delight have found a few members with the same theme interests as I  ;D! I am into the modern themes, not the Romans, Egyptians, pirates, or knights which makes my collection seem quite boring to most members  :(!  It is good to have you back, so don't ever disappear on us again  :'(, please! It is a true pleasure to have the privilege to see you become active here, once more  :yippee:!
Best regards,
Bill

:**:  Hello again to my old friend Arizzo!  I know what you mean about the "money-spending business!"   Even though my children no longer play with Playmobil, I still manage to buy a lot of it.  I gave Gustavo quite a laugh the other day when I said I was buying for future grandchildren! ;D)  But most important, I am happy to be back here at Playmofriends, with my comfortable old identity, enjoying the conversation and company of a great group of Playmo-lovers!

  And hello to new friend Bill!  I am not sure that I can promise never to go away again, but I will certainly try to be as active as time allows.  :)   I am sure your collection is not boring at all!  Even though my first Playmo-love is the castle theme (steck, of course!  :hmm:) and my renewed interest was largely due to the new Egyptian theme, I am a fan of almost every theme!  I love the new shipping theme with the container ships, cranes, handtrucks, cargo bins, grain sacks, coal (!! !!) etc. and I claim ownership of many modern buildings (airport, fire station, etc.)  I think I can safely say that everyone enjoys reading about (and seeing pix of, when possible) other people's playmo, even if it is not their particuar interest.  For example, I always enjoy seeing the customs of folks like playmofire and Tim_w who concentrate on fire/rescue vehicles, even though that is not my particular focus.  I just love seeing the creativity and ingenuity that come into play.  I am still not caught up with reading about and viewing the pix of all of the great projects and customs that have been posted here over the past few years, but I am savoring them slowly.  :yup:
