Toby Goes to the Zoo

That ice cream building is AMAZING.  I was looking at my system X today, I need a building for my dio.. I have NO Idea how to go about it

The penguin place is gorgeous! Those little rocks look great

I love your penguin exhibit, especially the use of the modern swimming pool. Good job of connecting pools so they have more space. And I really like your penguin holding area! Great use of parts there.

Part 14:  Mostly About Information Centres
and: What Toby Didn't See

'Do we have to go to the Panda Information Centre?' groaned Toby.



'Come along Toby,' said Daddy, 'It will be very interesting and educational.'

'I don't like educational,' said Toby.



'This way,' said Mummy.



'I'm bored already,' said Toby.



'Can we go now?' said Toby.



'Cheer up, Toby,' said Mummy, 'I wonder what we're going to see next.'

'I hope it's more pigs,' said Toby.



'Come and look here, Toby,' said Daddy.



'There are Tigers in here,' Daddy said.



'There's a white one!' said Toby.



'Why is that Tiger white?' he asked.

'I don't know,' said Daddy, 'It doesn't look like an albino.  Let's go and find an Information Board or something, and perhaps we'll find out.'



'Look, we're in luck,' said Daddy, 'Here's a Tiger Information Centre.'

'Noooo!' protested Toby.



What Toby Didn't See:

Toby didn't know that the cave at the rear of the Tiger enclosure led to their off-exhibit area.



Where there are individual Tiger holding areas.





Each with a sleeping platform.



What Toby Saw:

'I'm tired,' said Toby, 'I'll sit here and rest, and you can go in the Tiger Information Centre.'



'Oh dear,' said Mummy, 'I suppose you have done a lot of walking today.  Let's look at the map.  We're at number 5 right now.'



'And here's the exit at number 1,' Mummy continued, 'So I think we should walk that way now. We can look at the Camels as we go.'



What Toby Didn't See:

And so Toby didn't go into the Tiger Information Centre.

So for all those information posters (I have lost count how many!), you had to set up the animals and habitat, take the photos, print off the information posters, then set up the appropriate part of the zoo...

Amazing!

Yep.    

And read some websites about the animals too, so I could put some basic information on the posters.  I didn't really know much about anything, so had to look it up.

I must admit, though, that in the end I began to feel a bit the same way as Toby regarding Information Centres....

They take up valuable space that could be used for new animals!

As Toby and his parents left the Tiger Information Centre, they had no idea that they were passing the Food Distribution Centre.













And that, next to the Food Distribution Centre, were the Construction, Maintenance, and Planning offices.
