The lady #9, pink w/keys, does her staff come apart. If the handle was brown the pearl part gold and the crystals stayed the same I would buy many of them. I really like if for some reason

Yes, it does - I should have taken the pic with it apart   :-[ - we were afraid to lose the crystals, so we assembled them all.

It's made of the handle, the little crown and two crystals. The handle must be made of pink wood, like the rest of the stuff. :hmm:  You're right, of course.

I'm still waiting for the pink trees.   ::)

Yes, I'm guessing most people are after the scots.. One could think playmobil could take a hint, but....

I am also convinced they must do a LOT of side business on ebay and such.. I mean, at least THAT could explain it.

That *would* explain it

I don't DISLIKE the guy, I just think it's not the place for him. Either make him different, or make a special/special plus, classic edition, whatever..

I do like that hair a lot. Wish they did that in other colors.

I see what you mean - you are right, the figures really seem the place for unique/new klickies.

And yes, more colors on that hair.

The holes are horrid, yes... and most hairs are blond, with most stuff in gold. Not a good combination, imo :(  The torsos.. those REALLY gorgeous ones have that stupid hole :(

And the speedos.. Such a shame, cause the klickys would look GREAT. In their socks they just look silly.

Ack!  You are right about the gold & blond hair combo.  I really would love to chat with the designers.  And it would be interesting to hear about what their design process is and understand what is driving some of the decisions they make.  Oh and I'd love to give them some small suggestions...just a few  ;)

I've been saying that from the start - two series per year is FAR too much. And there is also that other issue - you can mostly make freaks within a series.

They should make less figures - 6/8 of each, as you suggested - and keep to a broad "theme" (or two) on each series... Then you could actually make different klickys.

Of course, making different bodies doesn't help, right?  >:(

I like the idea of a theme - and putting a little more thought into how they might be recombined.  And you are right about the different bodies that are compatable.  All the body parts should be compatable within the figures series (and have no holes) since they market switching to parts around.

With the printing quality steadily declining, they should at least avoid printed faces...

You would think... ::)

What designers?

On a serious note, you really have to WONDER if they actually think about things. On that jungle "hovercraft", the guy with the holster doesn't settle in the boat. The samurai from the mag has that issue with the neckpiece versus hat. Then there's the invisible magical arrows from that "Diana" fairy... And this is just a couple of things from the top of my (poor old) head!  And not even getting into weird colors..

Exactly. I'm still not over the arms mess. I don't think I will EVER get over it :(   >:(

I mean, the figures series as they are work well for those of us that are into every theme AND have a bunch of parts anyways, that allow us to not only fix what they did  ::) , but also move around the parts as it was (supposedly) intended...

What's a buyer that gets half a dozen random bags supposed to do!?

I know - I feel sorry for the average kid and their parents too, only a minimal chance to get one they really want.  Particularly with collectors feeling the bags for all the good ones  :-[

Point  :-[
(I don't do it more often for lack of opportunity - and need.. though this time for the scot... I will. If I see them)

I suppose that's why TRU has them in "boxes" - so I don't buy them...

Interesting question - I'm thinking I would have been trying to figure out which could be best used to create more cool female klickies.  I was never really into pink sparkly stuff.  When my best friend and I played Barbie our favorite theme was "Amazon Barbie" and we made outfits out of scraps,  I don't even want to think about what we did to poor Ken...

But these days kids seem to be playing with toys at a younger age then I would have played with the same toy.  My almost 4 yo isn't really excited by the Fi?ures - he really likes vehicles, animals, food, furniture, fences, some tools and small steck buildings.
