I suppose as a kid we would have loved the western ones.. I don't know - there weren't that many back then...

I hated Braveheart. I hate bad endings - that's what the news are for. The Others take them.

Actually, I've never seen Braveheart.

Oh then don't, it's one of those Mel-Gibson-loves-himself-feasts
And it has a horrible ending too, yes.

Maybe kids today know highlanders through Disney's 'Brave'? I dunno.

My nephews, aged 3,5 and 7, like racers and dinosaur rangers, but mostly ... well, hotwheels.

Interesting question - I'm thinking I would have been trying to figure out which could be best used to create more cool female klickies.  I was never really into pink sparkly stuff.  When my best friend and I played Barbie our favorite theme was "Amazon Barbie" and we made outfits out of scraps,  I don't even want to think about what we did to poor Ken...

Ha, that sounds like so much fun  ;D
My sisters and I didn't see our Barbies as kitchen-maids or super models either. Actually, since there was always a lack of 'Kens', it was a pretty women-empowered Barbie world: Barbie as a news anchor, Barbie working at a travel agency, Barbie as a rock star...

I don't think my tastes in klickies has changed much since I was a kid. My favorites of this series would have been the highlander, the Arabian guy, the Chinese/Mongolian lady and possibly the 50's lady and the fairy queen (the one with the new cape).

Maybe kids today know highlanders through Disney's 'Brave'? I dunno.
Good point. I would think so.

When I was a child, I beheaded Ken.

Did we have a suggestion thread for F?gures?

Excellent.

I feel much better about his enslavement - oh, and the broken arm.

Good point, there were never enough Kens.  I think at one point I had a Barbie who was dubbed "Divorce Barbie"  this allowed her to be a single mom.  I don't think her having a child out of wedlock even occurred to us.

poor kens living in a girls house

Our British neighborhood friends brought loads of big Gi-Joes and Barbie dolls were exactly that, Barbie dolls who were passed around amongst the troops  >:D Good thing the toy manufactures already pre dressed them for the job  ;)
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

By some miracle I came across some series 6 clickies in Buenos Aires so I bought them-
I confess I didn't read the previous 5 pages, so sorry of some of the following has already been said. but here's my feedback for what I got.

First thing I noticed is that the plastic is different. It looks more bendy, not as shiny and more porous. NOt great!!  :(
I got:
Maleficent (or the witch) I really like her though the classic face to me looks a lot better than the crazy one. the cape in that opaque plastic is horrible.
Chinese girl: I LOVE the dress golden details. amazing printing!
polcadotes woman: ABSOLUTLY BEAUTIFUL!!!! though she would have look better with black hair and other type of cuff. Nothing I couldn't change  ;) Other than that she is beautiful.

pirate; i reall like him, the coat color is great and the beard and bandana are really cool too.
cowboy: I like him though other hair color would have been better, he looks too "clean and blonde" to be a cowboy.
karate guy, really cool figure. was the old Special a fat clicky too? or this is supposed to be the same guy but "older"?
aladin or whatever he is. really cool too. I love the pecs  I never noticed that before.
pijama guy.... the simplest figure but I LOVE HIM. the color is beautiful and the print is really cool too.
alien.... mmm very dissapointing. The pearly-green parts are hideous and the re-use of the "police stick" (I don't know it's name) as an alien weapon is scary and kinda lame IMO!!!  >:( >:( >:( >:( Any other stick wold have been better.

That's all I could get so far.   :'(

The polka dot girl is a very pleasant surprise.  She came out really fantastic - much better than the pictures.

Thanks for the pictures now if they could just get here on retail that would be fantastic.  Love the sword on the highlander!
