could use a better hairstyle yes, and might be nicer if it portrayed him as king, as he will likely appear for the pictures when he is crowned. With cape and crown.

Her dress is plain, but it has that really nice skirt style, and the somewhat light color without any printing will be easy to paint and customize. :love:

I love this set!  It isn't to flashy, but I really like the idea of real people in playmoform.  Hopefully we get to buy it around the world and that they do more of these.

The soon-to-be-king Willem-Alexander looks really nice.  8-)
As Playmobil-Benelux is responsible for the distribution, I wonder if this exclusive will be available in Belgium as well or only in The Netherlands... ???

Playmobil will introduce on July in The Netherlands King Willem Alexander and Queen Maxima. Playmobil hoped to introduce them on 30 April (when Willem Alexander and Maxima became officially King and Queen), but did not succeed. But as promised, the pair will be introduced  :).
