Tim,
I have been waiting to see what you would create this year, I love the layout so far, can hardly wait to see the interior shots.

It looks such a magical place, I love it,
the snow looks so real too.
Can't wait to see more.

I love the castle Tim, all about it!
But I am amazed by the pics. You make them look like the place is HUGE and the land vast and solitary. I LOVE THAT. They look like pics of a real place, congrats!

Thanks, here is a small version of the extra image I use for backgrounds. It is a composite of an actual photo of the sky and a photo of the fabric I use as a snow base made to look hill-like.
I cut out the undesirable background parts and then put this image behind what's left as a replacement. The clouds on this are really nice since they can be expanded or stretched without looking odd.

oooh that's awesome.
I can't believe how many hours took you to cut around the lights and cables
I haven't learnt how to do that background thing yet....
They look great!

Wow, what a great castle. The scene looks so realistic, and the castle is a fine tribute to steck!
Can't wait to see the pics of the inside!
