Awesome find, Gaston!

It's an amazing feeling that of suddenly spotting an old Playmobil set where you least expect it

I've had one of those where it was a camera/toyshop. One side of the door the window display was cameras, the other Playmobil. It's where I got my two 3149's ;D

The red carrying thing for the crane will probably still be available as it was recently in this set:

7596 - Mobile Crane (old #4210)

I got this set from DS 2 years ago, and the part number of the red thing is 30 20 0830 (same as the original)

I will try and get a scan of my instructions to Heather as soon as I find a way of scanning them properly :-\

Damo :)

It's a long shot but maybe someone could try ordering for you the lighter grey one from set 4490.

http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-25-6330

Of all the different versions that is the most recent one they made. Better to have one in the wrong colour than none at all. :)

Great Sylvia and Damo thank you very much! I'll try both in my next order, I didn't know they came in grey.  ;D

Yes Damo the feeling is awesome... first time this happens to me. Old toy shops are mostly gone here... :(

I think it's a good marketing strategy.  After all, nice lingerie often creates a need for nice toys...  about 9 months later.

I've always loved that crane!

What else does that shop have in the way of Playmobil?

That crane is a Playmobil classic.  I have one and it's nice just to pick up the box and feel the weight of the set!  A great buy by you and oh so lucky it was still there.

I'll ask UK DS later this week on the availability of the missing part and  let you know the position here.
