 Its the support frame fo rhte wooden tub underneath . Also found in the rather rare set  3372, i am not so sure if it was originally in teh bakery , i think it was but not 100% sure ...

It's not shown in the pictures of the bakery.  Nor is there a wash basin.

I was wondering if it would have come with a western set.

The lot I got the first one in was all old 70's stuff (same lot the wagon for the merchant's caravan was in, I believe). There were some knight stuff but also western, pirate, construction and fire too.

This x - stand is not in the bakery or any other steck house, i checked. in fact its a rather very rare item after all and now that comes to it i only have 1 or two of them !!!   :)

There are similar stands in 5407 - Washer Woman but they use a different mold.

i know for a fact that that particular part came in our old schaper farm set with the tractor and stuff... we always used it as a milking stool

That does look like a fair amount of that stuff was in that lot. I wonder if it could be in any similar sets. There was no where near the variety as today.
