How to make a movie?
« on: May 03, 2011, 18:06:15 »
this is not really a how-to post but a how-to question.

Im experimenting with windows movie maker (for a playmo movie) and I don't find how (more likely I can't) to work with the audio track. So far I can add and place the track but can I work with it? I mean... I want to make the sound desappear at some point or sowly fade away, or mix with another track or even a sound.
Can that be done?

thanx for the help

I have no first hand experience but I think you cannot make original sound disappear from the clip... only make it really low...

I used Movie maker with a series of pictures  to make a movie/ presentation of them and movie maker allows you to fit in a song whose duration automatically adjusts the duratin of the presentation  which makes things very easy. i have created a project liek this with about 100 photos of my progress so far of the mediaval set up but when i tried to download it into Youtube it wouldnt work and its shame as i wanted to share this with you all. i tried many times over i dont think movie maker is compatible with youtube ...  ??? ??? ??? ???

I did the finals of the WJT in movie maker and had no trouble oploading it to Youtube. You need to make sure you safe it to the right file format, I have no clue which file formats youtube accepts

In regards to adding audio I just had a track that had the perfect length so I had no real trouble so luckily I didn't need to fidget around with it longer. I guess whenever I will make another I might have more time and will make the audio track more complicated!
