Amongst other items, which I'll post about later, I've added another of the 4019 locos to the stable and as Sunday was a bright, sunny day a special excursion train of 5 carriages was laid on for the extra crowds.  In view of the length of the train and the large number of passengers both locos were used, one pushing and one pulling.

I had originally planned for both locos to pull the train, but they don't have coupling hooks and some experiments weren't successful.  However, I have sought Walter's advice and he can help.

Both locos used the same colour chip in the receiver and so only a single control was needed.

Here's a video:

And here's one with analogue sound:

Well, in the last couple of weeks I've bought another 16 straights and today I bought 36 curves and 28 straights and 7 sets of points.  Sooner or later I'm going to have to abandon the pond and have a more "round the garden" layout.

Thank you, Panos and Gaston.

I was out walking today (about 10 miles along the cliff path - much worse than I expected as there were frequent drops down to sea level to cross streams and then steep, very steep, climbs up to cliff height again, often with steps - I wonder of they include the ups and downs in the measurement of the distance?) and thinking about how the garden layout might look.
