how to keep our playmobil clean

if we leave some of the playmobil plastic  out in the atmosphere either gets yellow or brown for example castle parts,dollhouse, white ships.. and many   more! does anyone has solutions for that

As far as I know, people have good results with oxygen-peroxide, at least with old white parts.
I once did not succeeded with wc-cleaner, another top secret ingredience in lightning up plastic parts, with extremely bleached iglu and western-bank parts. 
(nothing got damaged, but it did not magically turn brandnew...)

But do the new parts bleach? The newest bleached part in my collection is the fishers hut, but I guess this house is likely to be ten years old, also...
Maybe playmobil is advancing in their technology...

The newest part I had that was bleached was the trailer of the 3935 gigant truck, although this set is quite a few years old as well

I usually just sling anything that is bleached

yes of course new playmobil  bleach ,there is a one plastick that they use which get's dirty not all of them for example the figures don't get dirty all the building material get's dirty about the set flatcat said i don't know about it i don't have it . usually the reasons are the dust and the sun that affect the color.the strange thing is that i had my childhood playmobil in a showcase closed but by the years they turned yellow?

From what I have heard in previous postings, the type of ABS plastics that Playmobil used in earlier years was susceptible to discoloration due to color material additives in the plastic molding process. Due to aging it is common for the additives to leach out of the plastic causing the tinting problems experienced by collectors. If the white or light grey plastics have a gold or brownish discoloration, it may be due to being subjected to an atmosphere of cigarette, smoking pipe or cigar smoke laden with tar & nicotine causing the stains. These discolorations react favorably to the 35% hydrogen peroxide soaking baths well. If the light grey parts have a greenish discoloration due to direct sunlight or extreme heat, it seems to be more permanent for that particular color & plastic type.  I have tried several methods that have been discussed on this & other forums & these are my personal findings using H2O2. Others may have more successful results.

smoking could be a cause but i don't smoke i think it is from dust. how can we prevent it before the plastics turn brown.

If it is plain dust from skin cells etc., not dust from heating with oil, firewood, or coal, washing with a gentle cleaning solution like "MeanGreen" available here in the USA, the parts should become clean with no damage. If there is discoloration after washing, there is another reason. Be sure to store any Playmobil protecting it from sunlight.

From what I've been told by others more familiar with the composition of plastics, Playmobil has changed some of their plastic recipes to make their toys more durable, exempting them from the prior, more common discolorations, & stronger, resisting breakage better.

No problem playmo1989! One note of caution, DONOT use H2O2 on any blue, red, or other dark colored parts, because it will lighten them severely, irreversibly damaging them!
