Uploading Pictures
« on: February 26, 2009, 11:00:46 »
Hi Guys,

I am brand new in here and I would like to share pictures with you but without success...

I have tried on two occasions to upload pictures and got a successfuly done message but there is nothing in my album ?

Could I drag pictures from my documents ?

I will welcome your help as Bill very kindly advised me to look at his own process which I am afraid I found quite complicated to achieve.

Is there is simple plain way to import / upload a picture ?

I would be very grateful if you could assist me with this issue.

Many thanks

Karim

Hi Karim

Is it the Photo Album you wish to use or would you prefer to attach the pictures to your posts within a topic so that members can discuss on the forum?

I made this brief Photo Album tutorial with screenshots when the forum was launched 3 years ago. The Album has been modified slightly since then because it was upgraded in 2007. This means some things might not look exactly the same, but the process should be almost identical to how it was at the beginning. I think the only real difference is you no longer need to specify how many files you want to upload. The album automatically gives you 5 uploading "fields" and you just use however many you need to.

The main thing to remember is that you must create an album first and then upload your pictures. After uploading the pictures, you need to place each one individually into an album, each time clicking on the album in the drop-down menu (as shown in the tutorial). At this point you can add titles and descriptions to your pics.

If you want to attach pictures to posts, the info for that can be found here:

I hope this helps! :)

Many thanks

I see you have your pictures up in Photobucket . With this you have done half of the hard work .

The last step is when viewing the specifc picture stop the slide show .

on the top of the picture is a blue link titled "get links" click it and a new poage showing the pictures will apear.

to the right of the picture there are a list of Image link code look for the one titled "IMG Code - Forums & Bullein Boards" high light it blue and copy it or command copy ( it looks like this [IM G] http: //i615.photobucket .com/albums/tt236/playmovic/f e07001-1.jpg [/I MG] )

Then where you are typing your responce like where i am typing right now "paste it" and you get this

If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:
