thanks  zugpferdchen for the Pico catalog.

I really like the look of baggage car 38603. would be nice to make an armored car out of it. Need something for the bandits to blow up in search for gold

They have a pink gondola 37742 on page 6
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

. . . Need something for the bandits to blow up in search for gold . . .

Here is what you need, Rasputin:  LGB 94008 exploding dynamite car.   It blows apart when you run another train into it.  They come up from time to time on ebay (though the one referenced here seems a bit pricey.)  I was lucky enough to get one on clearance around the time that Lehmann was going under - it is awesome!  :)  For anyone not familiar with the Lehmann LGB "Toy Train" line, it was a simpler and less expensive line than their highly detailed trains and very similar to and compatible with the Playmobil electric trains.

It's also available new now since Marklin took over LGB.

I would much prefer electric trains from Playmobil!

They were electric when I was growing up, but I had HO trains and I really admired the Playmobil ones, but they seemed like "toys" in comparison (I was at that age when you transition out of little kids' toys (Playmobil) and into bigger kids' toys (scale models)).  There was also the cost comparison.

Of course, now that I'm older I clearly see the error of my ways and I do wish I would have gotten electric G scale trains.

I do have RC trains - however, the way Playmobil has been discontinuing the RC line the other year it makes me wonder how much longer it will be around...  (Was that merely a test to see how much response they get to see if people are still interested in them?  Or a sales-increase ploy?  Or?)

I wonder with the PCC we could voice our interest in Playmobil bringing back electric trains?

I think, unfortunately there is no chance for Playmobil to go back to electric trains with techiques (tracks, transformers,...) Geobra don't produce in house...
