A very good use of some old display shelves, Bonnie, and nicely displayed Playmobil.

Maybe the furry ones with their lettuce juice squirting are LEGO fans!

When you have the light behind the subject you're wanting to photograph, your camera possibly has a control somewhere marked "Backlight".  Press this and the camera will compensate automatically.  (You may have to press it again after the photo to stop the camera compensating every time irrespective of where the light is.)  However, this will only work within limits.
