I do not recognize the little red cart looking thing, it does not look like playmobil but looks very nice. It reminds me of a little trolley car type thing.

No that's just because the show only started a few hours later  Seriously, I had the circus stacked with people, but didn't feel like taking pictures. And then I had to clear it away because we had friends coming over.

The red cart indeed isn't playmobil. It's from an old LGB Lehmann train set. It was included in a lot that I bought second-hand (the old blue PM train and tracks).
It reminded me of the circus train from the Disney movie Dumbo 

There certainly was a big circus this Sunday...  

Yep, the elections here in Antwerp were just that: a circus!!
