Halloween Special Part 3: The Hand

Hello All
Here is the next story in my Halloween series. I didn't realise how short the passage of text was to this picture, infact i thought it was lost untill i found it in a different book this evening. The following haunting was taken from The Big Book of Ghosts by Gyles Brandreth. I am sorry for the seperate posts, i really did think it was a good idea at the time to split them up in this way. I hope the picture makes up for the lack of text and my error of judgment
.
Shard Gate, Dorset.
At Chettle Down in Dorset a fight took place when a gamekeeper discovered a poacher. The poacher escaped the battle after having his hand chopped off. When the man eventually died he was buried in London, allthough his hand remained in the Dorset churchyard. The ghostly hand can often be seen at Shard Gate trying to find its lost body.
Kindest Regards Tim

Hey Tim,
Great Picture. I like the detail.
The stories are also very interesting; they have my attention. I am actually very interested in hauntings, especially around southern Ohio. If you have time, look up Athens Ohio.
Now I just night have to go make some creepy pictures for myself.
Thanks for sharing, Tim.

Wow, my favourite so far, although not much from a klicky can be seen, but I really like the tombstones and graves. Well done, very atmospheric.

Reminds me of the film
THE BEAST WITH FIVE FINGERS
which scared the heck out of me when I was a kid ...
Thanks for another great story,
Tim
...
All the best,

Excellently done, Tim. I agree with the others about the graveyard, too. Great atmospeher and detail.

Hello All
Thank you very much again for the kind feedback, it is allways appreciated. The hand was quite easy to create but the graveyard was a lot more difficult than i first thought. I hadn't realised that i would not only have to make the gravestones but paint them too !! Then came the problem of making the surroundings actually look like a graveyeard. I was quite lucky in the end because i had a lot of scenic material left over from my model railway days.
Kindest regards Tim
