Hi folks -
I thought I'd share a couple of clips of our LGB train (a worker train starter set which I converted to xmas theme by buying a few xmas themed cars off ebay). The videos are from the Xmas before last.
Apologies in advance for a few things: One, for the poor film quality since I used the video option of my still dSLR cam; two, for having such long detailed explanations next to the videos. I was speaking to others who were train-obsessed as I was at the time and had been trying to find an affordable way to transport my kids' playmobil klickies around since the Playmobil xmas train was near impossible to get my hands on (I'm sure I don't need to tell you!). Plus I wanted a good whistle/sound to have added, so I wrote about that too (once i found something that worked for us) for others looking for sound.
ALSO apologies for the guy that just wouldn't stop talking in the background. He's a friend of my mother-in-law and the way he talks and improper English makes me cringe each time I hear the sound in the video. I know that sounds mean and judgmental but GEEZ I kept re-taking the video in hopes he'd stop talking...I had to actually put my hand up in a PLEASE STOP TALKING motion while he was gabbing!

I wish I had more store shop signs like they have w/ the UBER expensive bakery and inn, etc. I do have the platform set which is great for stages and bridges, etc. That would probably be useful...if I were creative enough anyway! I'd really LOVE to get my hands on the Playmobil Xmas caboose (or any Playmobil caboose that wouldn't clash with xmas cars for that matter) cause I love that when you life up the roof, there's a bed and wood stove in there.
