6635 The Petting Zoo

I picked this cute little set up in my last order.  It's got 74 pieces, and took about 20 minutes to sticker and assemble everything. 

The Box:






It's another unfortunately empty box...




Set up:  I LOVE the new fence! 



I'm also a fan of the sign for atop the shelter.

The Animals!  It's the first I've gotten of the new bunnies. I know they've been around, but these are the first to enter my collection.



The Rabbit House





And finally the people:  I like the outfits of each of the children.



I forgot to say anything about the waterer that attaches easily to the fence (though sadly it's got a hole in the top) but I think that's a neat touch.

Overall I like this set and think that it fits well within the zoo realm.

Thanks for the review.

Oh, what a good idea to place the rabbit/guinea pig house on the straw.  I've got one of those animal houses from a secondhand 3210 guinea pigs set - minus all the fencing, so I've never used it.  But I've also got one of those pieces of straw with a large hole in from the 5122 pigs with shelter set, so I could combine the old animal house with that!

I love that fencing too, and buying more of that has been an as-yet-postponed plan since I got the Large Zoo earlier this year. The gate is very nice too.

I agree with you that the sign is lovely. If one didn't want to use it on the shelter, though, can the sign-holding piece on the roof of the shelter be removed?

I'm STILL on the fence on this one - I WANT the woman's upper half! (that sounded odd) and the boy's legs..

That fence is amazing... always not in stock whenever I order :(  I hope it FINALLY makes it to the iberian shop next year. More expensive then..

Yes Raven, you don't have to put the sign on the roof and there are just two small raised spots that the sign slides into. As you can see the sign can stand on its own (because of the two small spots that slide into the holders on the roof).

I thought she looked... smoother... Kinda like comparing the new soft rhino with the old tank.... rhino, I mean.
