It's true, I get everything so organized, and then the first time I try to set up a picture, there's something I cant find, and before I know it, the playmobil is everywhere. :-\

I dont have that problem... sure the contents in a tub are not tidy, but I know what I need is there somewhere...

I'm slowly getting to that stage, but before long Knaresborough Exhibition will come along and I bet I'll be back to square one!

Been there, done that, got that tee shirt :-\! It always starts out that way, always nice & tidy, organized, looking gooood,.......then WHAM, CHAOUS :o!

My puchases seem to find their way to the top of my bar, where they sit for months waiting to be put away in the storage bins.

Oh yes, mine is all very organized in nicely stacked bins. Except for the part when I am setting up or tearing down a scene.
You have a misc bin Joe. I've got a box like that. Some time we should do a thread comparing what ends up in those.

Yeah, I know exactly what bin things are in, but I have to start unstacking boxes to get to the right bin, so the boxes come out of the closet. And then I decide to leave them out until I finish, so i can put the stuff back more easily. ANd then after taking out a bunch of stuff from many different boxes, putting it all back in the right places is a challenge... it's funny how I know where to find it before I get it out, but remembering where it goes when it's time to put it up is harder. :-\

Misc boxes are great. Mine is mostly sort of a holding area... it's a box with no lid, and when I have something that i don't have time to put away properly, or something new that doesn't quite fit in any category and I need to figure out what to do with it, it goes in the misc. box. Then later when I have time I go through that box and put away what I can. But there are some things that just stay in there because I never can figure out where I should put them.

Anyway... comparing would be fun! You should start a thread, Tim, for us to compare contents of our misc. boxes.

Same here  lots of unstacking, leaving in the middle of the room, moving tubs ar the other end, leave the tubs without a lid, yes, that can be a mess alright  8} But in the end, everything is back where it belongs... its becoming too mechanical after a while
