Title: Do you have any of these sets?
Post by: GrahamB on December 07, 2019, 18:28:30
I need help with identifying the hair style of the 11 5 figures shown below (where a set has more than one figure, the one I am interested in is shown in a red oval). The hair colour of a couple is also unknown.

If you have any of these sets and are confident that the hair hasnít been changed since it was new, please let me know what style (https://www.dropbox.com/s/cu0khunqaytt192/Hair%20Types%2006%20Nov%202019.pdf?dl=0) it is (or send/post a photo of the back or side of the head).

I also need to find out the hair styles of klickies in the following four magazines: Magazines with unknown hair types (http://www.playmodb.org/cgi-bin/your_set_list.pl?setlist=80561,80584,80608,80616;title=Magazines) (also hair colour for the 80564 klicky).

Have you considered relying upon YouTube reviews? 70081 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQbJb0X7snE) and 70028 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUipz8yMl8o) are easily solved this way.

Thanks for that suggestion, PlaymoCollector. I managed to cross off four klickies by looking at YouTube videos (including the female from the Firefighter Duo - thanks Tahra, you don't need to search for that one!), but the quality of some videos are so poor they don't help.

I have amended the list, so there are now seven to find (the older ones, not surprisingly).

Hi Graham!
I have 2 sets - 3331 and 5887.  It may take a few days to find the sets and photo the figures, but I shall do it. :)

Hi Indy!

Thanks for that! 3331 seems especially hard to find (I used your Google Images tip to find quite a few klickies with unknown hair, but these 11 (now 7) eluded me!).

Hi again Graham!
Here are the figures from 5887 and 3331 - both packages were unopened so the hair should be correct.  Both seem to have the same hair.  Sorry that the photos aren't better, but at least they provide the info.   ::)

Woo-hoo! Thanks Indianna! Not really a surprise that they have 'classic male' hair, but great to have authoritative confirmation! If only a few more people would crack open their precious MISB sets, this sort of investigation would be much easier!

That's great, Indianna, thank you! I'll grab the photos for the inventories, and add the hairstyle indicator. Graham, if you think you're done, just wait - new sets and new instructions-with-klicky-numbers coming down the slipway every day.
