Title: Water Rescue
Post by: FireChief on September 09, 2006, 18:52:04
Hello Everyone,

Playmo Fire units were dispatched to East Fork State Park to assist in the recovery of a vehicle from the water. Visitors noticed the vehicle in the water at about 6pm.

Engine 1 with the new rescue boat responded with help from Engine 2, Medic 1, and Car 5. The police department and Park police also assisted.

Boat 1 and a diver investigated the vehicle and tied it off to the shore.

The vehicle was hauled back to shore by a tow truck.

Once the vehicle was brought on shore the trunk was popped open. The incident then became a homicide investigation for the police department

As always: very interesting, nice photos and well executed.  :)9

Will there be a sequel? I'm curious what happened to the dead body in the trunk. I know, you're in fire rescue but maybe there can be made a small shift to a CSI squad within your story. So you could equip a forensic unit and walk along with them on the investigations for solving this case ...

Neat photo story Ben! Like Jochen, I am curious - do police suspect a mob hit, or perhaps a serial killer is on the loose? I'd love to see more. BTW, I love teh new customs boat, I will have to get me a couple of those, even if they are a bit modern for my pirates! ;)

Great story and photos, FireChief.

It idn't take long for the customs boat to find a new use!

Hello Jochen CH and Gordon,

Thank you very much for you comments.

I did just get some of the SWAT team guys so maybe there will be some police stories coming... ;D  >:D

Gordon, actually I just got the boat that day.  ;) It really is great, lots of space for equipment and personell, just the wrong color.

Hello  Ben  :)

Excellent story as allways :)9. I really cant wait to see how you develop it into a Police investigation. I am also amazed by how usefull the boat is. I had dismissed it before but having seen it being used in your story i am thinking of getting one.

Kindest Regards  Tim

Hey Richard,

Thanks for the comments.  ;D

As for the Police, they're planning a raid on a possible suspects house, but you didn't hear that from me.  0)

Gosh! A skeleton in the trunk! :o

Never mind a sequel... I'd like to see the prequel! ;)

Great story, Ben, and a well-thought out series of photos. It's always fun and interesting to see your Playmo set up in natural locations. 8-)
