Excellent use of Playmobil items.
What have you used for the coble stones in the road way

Great set up!

Love the skating ring, the "umbrellas" look real nice there..

The cobble stones are gorgeous - so I second Walts - what is it? Printed? And the snow?

I found it at a craft store, part of a line of accessories for a traditional Christmas display village, they have a selection of different looks and sizes. Very useful.....here is an example

And the snow is also a roll from the same craft store, I added some extra to give some dimension.

Great looking display.  Nicely put together and really captures the holiday mood.

For lighting - you might try one of the battery operated tealight/votive candles, like they sell for jack-o-lanterns etc. They have a nice low light level and flicker like proper candlelight. Check the Lemax stuff at the craft store (probably Michaels?). They make some mini Christmas lights. I am using 5 strings of the colored ones (50 lights on a string - so 250 lights total) for my Santa Castle this year. They are a perfect size. http://www.lemaxcollection.com/detail--12-Sparkling-Mini-Light-String-0-2928.aspx (http://www.lemaxcollection.com/detail--12-Sparkling-Mini-Light-String-0-2928.aspx)

Great minds think alike!!! I went to Michaels this morning and picked up a string of those Lemax lights (all Lemax 40% off this week). I also found spotlights from the same line that I am setting up as we speak to light the outside of the church. Thanks for your help  :)

Some more pics, I added some lights (still need more), and added a path to the house. I also changed the paper on the skating rink.

That's looking great. A light inside the church to take advantage of the stained glass would be cool.

Great !

Try to get the cam on a solid ground / tripod and your nightpics will look even better.
