Van Hages, a UK garden centre chain, will be stocking Playmobil for Christmas, looking at their Christmas gift brochure.
Their website doesn't show any results for Playmobil, though, but the brochure does so whether it will be mail order only, or only in store I don't know.

A garden-centre selling Playmo? ???

I don't know about other countries, but garden centres in the UK sell anything; clothes, furniture, books, toys, kitchen wares etc

makes sense if they sell the farm and garden sets. It would make as much sense to see a playmo hot-house at a garden shop as it would be to see a Klicky painter at a museum
In the US gardening is one of the most popular pastimes so why not try to get their kids playing with toys that copy such activities

Our garden centers only sell candy and other junk food, aside from gardening supplies, of course. But I agree, seeing the greenhouse theme there would make perfect sense!

I love garden centres back home in the U.K. We used to go and get Sunday Lunch at one local one, and they always had good breakfasts too! They are definitely very different over here in the U.S.

So they're used as restaurants as well?! 8} Those garden-centres are really multifunctional!

This is fascinating to me. I had never heard that garden centers were like this in the UK.

There's one local to me that also sells craft stuff, pets and supplies, fitted kitchens, luxury solid wood house furniture, and swimming pools and hot-tubs
They really do sell absolutely anything, which is why I like going to 'nurseries' which literally just sell the plants (and usually half the price of garden centres)
Back on topic; the sets the catalogue show are just Christmas ones (advent calenders etc) so I wonder if they will just literally be stocking the Christmas ones?
