Works fine for me, but I could see them in the album to begin with so that may not be a huge help ???
-
i can see them with sylvias link but not with the other ones so that one i guess should work for everyone?
-
I can finally see them through the new link! Beautiful display! I can see it now, a huge custom wooden chess board displayed on the living room coffee table, filled with Playmobil knights one month & a new Playmobil figure theme the next!

These are awesome, lynx! Such a good idea!
-
These are stupendous! :wow: :wow: :wow:
Magnificent job! They look amazing!
I would love to play with sets like these. :wow:
I have one quirk though,
I see that the pawns do look very much the same,
but the Gual army's pawns seem a little too different to me.
One can clearly see the difference when they are lined up,
but in play it might be more confusing. :-\
Other then that, I would love to begin play. ;D

That was on purpose as the Gaul warriors didn't have equal uniforms as the Romans did. I used pokerchips for standards; the height of the standards is important for recognition- 1 chip for the pawns, 4 for the rooks, knights and bishops and 7 for the king and queen.
Also i decided to give the Gaul pawns no helmets...
I posted a few new pics in my album, enjoy!

Love these new pics! The mongols are briliant. My personal favorites though are the egyptians. Playing chess would for me be the easiest between the romans and egypts. Differences are big between the pieces and between "black and white"

Grand idea, :wow:
I can clearly see the distinction once pointed out. :)
I remove my previous quirk. ;D ;)

thanks for you enthusiastic feedback, that encourages me to go on! I'm working on Chinese and Japanese sets, African, Arab, Persian and Indian. Also I'm breeding on a photo- story...
there's more coming up!

Egyptians and Gauls vs Romans!!! Just WOW!!!
