I wanted to show my newest little project -- a custom souveneir stand that will be in the marine area of my zoo. The stand is from the 4891 Christmas market, repainted to more appropriate colors. A big thanks to Gis for some of these gorgeous souveneirs that will be sold here!!! I still need to make a sign for it, obviously, so I'll post an update when that's done. Hope you like it!

Thank you for the nice comments everybody!
The little seals and seahorses, and the seashell "trinket boxes" are gifts from Gis. Perfect for this gift stand!

oh Bonnie, this is so original  - i'd never come up with something like that! 8-)

bb:ADORABLE!!! The Christmas market stands are great for other settings, and yours is just wonderful! What color/brand of blue paint did you use? It is perfect, and the sealife is cute as can be...congratulations, Pgal

That looks great! It's a great use for the little seals too. They were always in sets as a toy rather than representing a real animal so I haven't included them in Animobil. Do you think I should add them?

Thank you! Yes, these stands have SO much potential. I use krylon fusion spray paint for playmobil. It bonds to plastic really well, and after a couple of weeks, it is almost impervious to scrathes if painted right. I'd have to look up the color names.

Thank you Tim! Hm, I hadn't even noticed they weren't on animobil. Yeah, I would add them, since the micro animals are on there, and I think the blue kangaroo is on there, right? Even though it has only been used as a toy. I think the little seals are sooo cute!

I can imagine this stand on some sunny beach on Greek islands with that white and blue.

Excellent job on this project, bb. Well done! Why don't you use the letters you used on your ambulances for your sign ;)!

Thank you tenni and elaine!
The little seals, as well as starfish, sea horses, and shells, came from Gis. They are from the funpark, so I believe some of the colors are funpark exclusives. I think the little seal has only been released in one color in regular boxed sets. The green color is just lovely, though!
