It can be found in other colors (pink, green and purple) but not in white. does anybody know what set could it be from ?
Thank you!
-
where is that picture from? (set number or where did you find it?) if there's a picture then it should exist in that color...

if I new the set number I wouldn't have opened the thread :giggle: :giggle: :giggle:
The pictures is from playclicks... there is a thread about this there too and no one knows about the white bow. So I offered to open it here to see if someone here knoews best-
IT IS NOT A CUSTOM, for one of the guys got it in a lot or something like that. So it is not painted white.
-
I spent several minutes to try to find where it could be from, but I found nothing.
I did increase the picture, and it's not impossbile that someone did change the pink color to the white one....
-
nope.... no customization. there are some others in white. I just put this pic, but I mean it is not the only one.

I mean the color of the bow on the picture, not the color of the bow itself

the point is ,where could it be from ,if it exists originally in white ,it annoys me too that i don't know where is it from ,i've spotted it other times too exept from that catalog ....hmmmmmmm :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

well, if the case remains unsolved i guess you won't stop sleeping, will you Alex?
-
Damo should know this... HELP Damo! ;)

it seems very strange to me that playmodb doesn't have that part listed
it could have been customized by Playmobil...i once saw in a catalog a pic (a train layout) a WHITE garden fence - the garden fence has never been available in that color, only in orange and green...which means it was customized
very rare, but it could be a possibility? too much mistery
-
I had no clue such an accessory existed :o

it's like the red medieval house, it was in the Playmobil diorama of the 70's...and it was in the add-on catalogue 2-3 years ago...

wait.. the problem with this theory is that this spanish collector HAS it (two in fact I think). They came in a lot with other stuff. 8}

Quite a mystery!
Maybe the bows came from a figure out of a Spanish Surprise Egg (Huevos Sorpresa)? Most of the parts they used were found in other sets, but there were some accessories and figures which have so far only been found in that series.

That would make a lot of sense... has anyone tried looking though the Vedes and Goodys sets that don't have inventories?
-
no idea what vedes and goodys are 8}
-
Could they ba antex or famobil or something?
-
NOt antex 200% sure! I would be buying antex if they made this beauties ;D
I already asked someone in spain if it could be Famobil
what are vedes and goodys?
-
Could they ba antex or famobil or something?
ba.... i don't think so ...they didn't made themselves victorian sets.... only realesed the originals .... i have to find that catalog to confirm it .but it's in greece ??? ??? does anyone have it to take a look? 1993 catalog
-
what are vedes and goodys?
I think those are department stores... must be some kind of exclusives. ???
-
Goody's is a fast food restaurant chain in Greece. They've done some promo giveaways with Playmobil figures in the past. :)
http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=533.0
Vedes is a German toy store, also found in some other European countries. They run a "Geburtstagsclub" (Birthday Club) for children which has offered exclusive Playmobil sets as gifts. I see they are currently running a Lego promotion. :toot:
http://www.vedes.de/Geburtstags-Club.geburtstagsclub.0.html
Karstadt is another German retailer who have done restaurant giveaways (as well as other exclusives from time to time). The gnome series is amazing and highly sought after by collectors.

Since these small promo sets never (afaik) include an instruction sheet, many of the part numbers for contents are still unknown to us and don't show up in Heather's database.

-
Nope, its not on any Goody's klicky.
-
AFAIK, Vedes is a European toy chain present in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Luxembourg, Hungary and in the Netherlands
Edit: Sylvia beat me to it :P
PS: I LOVE the Karstadt gnome series :cloud9:

Arizzo from KlickyWelt told me that this bow could be found in SOME of the 5321 bedrooms, but it was never mentioned in the instructions or put on the backside of the box.
That should explain....

He said he had the set twice: One set had this bow inside, the other one didn't. I don't know which version he had.
-
Thank you Playmofool!
I think the mistery is solved! Someone else (Duclack from playclicks) has confirm that he had this bow in a 5321 too. So it must be a variation of that set.
Now... being such a nice bow it deserves to be in some set as a feature!!!
Thanks everyone.

Love the pic by Godbay!

yeah, it makes sense it's from a victorian set - that accesory is too detailed to be from one of the old color sets
good thing the mistery was solved 8-)

HHHMMMMMM !!!!!!!!!!! The stick that the kilicky at the far right has in its hand where can it be found ?????????????????????
It's from a very old and very "desired" set from the 1970.
It's the "Aristocrats" from 1978 (Set-number 3543) and it has at least 4 more items that were never used in any other set (as far as I know), which is extremely rare for items from the 1970s.
3543 - Aristocrats (http://www.playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3543)
The other unique items are: [green hat-case; blue hat (man); green hat (woman); white hat (woman)]
