There might be a lot of factors affecting buyers and collectors' decieion, but which one do you think is more popular and sells better?? The playmobil population is actually lacking women, and I guess people are more interested in getting the ladies, which is 5204. What do you think??

Both lines have klicky's a would like to buy. First one I bought though was the cavewoman.
I think there both equally popular, but in the toyshop yesterday were all the figures were put in a basket the blue ones were
in minority. So maybe the blue ones sell faster or..?

I have very few females in my collection and need more but for some reason the 5203 blue packs appeal to me more. So far I have the boxer, executioner, Uncle Sam, 2 Zorros, champion, pizza chef, American football player, Mummy from the males and 2 riders, witch, pop star, skier and the pink princess from the girls. I am not a huge fan of the big skirts so don't really want the other females that have those. Wouldn't mind the cavewoman but I just find the male figures more fun and my daughter and I love making up stories with them. We do a klicky "draft" sometimes and the males always go first!! Having seen the pics of the series 2 figures I think I might like the females better for the most part. I would love to see some female warriors, pirates etc

I say that both are equally popular, although I did order a blue case before even considering a pink one :-[. I think that's because the blue series was so much more varied, with knights, football players and Uncle Sam , whereas the pink series has a high consistency of princesses :hmm:.

I voted for equally popular. I think I like them both equally myself!
-
I voted 5204.
I noticed that over here, the boxes with 5204 are disappearing quicker as the 5203.
That's all ...
Besides; the ladies are better looking ;)

I voted for equally popular - but it's true we kept more women than men...
-
I noticed the same as Count Bogro, that over here the pink boxes are a lot emptier (or even completely empty) than the blue ones.
And personally I liked both of them, but must admit that I find myself more in need of the ladies. And I find that only 2 ladies were no must haves and 4 men were no must haves.

In Hong Kong, 5203 is more popular than 5204. I agree Playmobil population has tendency towards male. Also, the figures in 5203 are varity and distinctive. But this doesn't mean everything as the 2nd series of girl figures in 2012 are really attractive. No doubt I will buy both boys and girls ;)

I have noticed the same with CountBogro too, in my only local shop that have them but in the Athens funpark as well.... I think the choises of the female figures is much more successful than the male ones, who may be brilliant but not too exciting or too good looking (except the rock singer perhaps).

I agree.

5204 is definitely a much better seller around here... one local store had a 20% off sale last week and started with 5 boxes of each... I went back last Saturday (the last day of the sale) and there were almost 3 boxes of blue bags left but only 5 pink bags left! And I bought 2 of those! Just had to get another cave woman. I'd say the 'pink' figures are more intersting than the blue - but for series 2, they look both to be great!

I like them both.

It isn“t a question of which I like best - I like both (though there are more female F?gures than male F?gures that I like).
It's just what I see happening in the shops.

I prefer the female figures.
-
according to me both are equally popular, because the number of kids boy and girl is almost the same, so a little boy will buy a "klicky boy" whereas a little girl will buy a "klicky girl"

At the store tonight, only 4 pink bags remained and 8 blue bags.
