I can't find a thread on this already, so I've started this one. Anyone wanting to but Axels' new book can do so here:
http://www.fantasiaverlag.de/
It's a German site, but they have English, French and Spanish sections.

I've got a copy on order, so unless anyone reviews it before I'll try to answer your questions when my copy arrives. :)

Uh, there are a lot of differences from my point of view: over 500 pages (new) vs. 308+ pages (old). The new one contains all sets from 1974 - 2006, the old one just 1974 - 2004. In general content has been extended, i.e. addition of some missing sets, especially by the foreign releases; for the easter eggs there a also now photos not only from the outside, but also from the content; there are new collector hints; also new photos from keychains, give away sets, promotion figures, merchandise (books, audio tapes, etc.), catalogues/flyers, ...
For my taste it's worth to buy.

thanks little jo,
i guess i will have to buy it...

Certainly even if you have the first edition it's worthwhile buying the second one. I bought mine over the internet using the link in my original post in this thread and paid with PayPal. I had a b it of a problem deciding how to pay with PayPal, but a question to my contact at the seller's was quickly answered and the book appeared a few days after payment.

Thanks, for all the info on the new "Collector" book, Gordon!
Looks like I'll have to get a copy ... :)
