Title: Stone age - parts list
Post by: tahra on October 05, 2011, 21:07:11
Ok, not exactly a query... but I had put this in the PROCESS, and I guess it's more handy here (and easier to find).

So, here's the list of the most important parts (to me, anyway):

5100   Prehistoric Cave with Mammut
30 00 9162   White prehistoric male, dark red hair, skirt, with belt for pouch
30 22 5842   Belt piece (to hold flint)
30 00 9152   White prehistoric male, dark red hair, no beard, pants
30 14 5060   White prehistoric female, red hair, skirt
30 11 2330   White prehistoric girl, dark red hair, pants
30 29 4250   Grey fur cape
30 51 9320   Stone Points (4 spears+2 flint+2 axe)
30 82 3362   Prehistoric art stickers

5101   Prehistoric Mammut Tent With Hunters
30 51 9360   Bone Spear Point
30 51 9360   Bone Axe Head
30 00 9182   Dark prehistoric male, black hair, no beard, pants
30 00 9172   Dark prehistoric male, black hair, skirt, with belt for pouch
30 22 6302   Pouch for belt (light brown)
30 00 9192   Dark prehistoric male, black hair, skirt
30 28 7850   Dark brown fur cape

5102   Prehistoric Sabertooth Tigers With Hunters
30 00 9202   Dark prehistoric male, black hair, pants
30 00 9212   Dark prehistoric male, black hair, no beard, skirt

5103   Prehistoric Hunters with Bear
30 22 5842   Belt piece (to hold flint)
30 00 9222   White prehistoric male, red hair, skirt, with belt for flint
30 00 9232   White prehistoric male, dark red hair, pants
30 22 5862   Spear Pole
30 22 5852   Axe Handle
30 51 9370   Stone Points (2 spears+1 flint+1 axe)

5104   Prehistoric Medicine Man
30 00 9242   Dark prehistoric male, black hair, no beard, skirt, painted face

If anyone wants another part number, let me know - but I didn't take pics of everything...

Ah, disclaimer: not responsible if there's a mistake there! I did check, but.. you know, what with old age and all..  :P

Sluuuuuuurrrp.... Into the database they go.... yum, part numbers! Thanks tahra!

http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/your_set_list.pl?setlist=5100%2C5101%2C5102%2C5103%2C5104 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/your_set_list.pl?setlist=5100%2C5101%2C5102%2C5103%2C5104)

Pictures underway. Anyone want to finish off these inventories for me? I still need the 5100 plans, too.

hello Tahra!
there is a tiny error;
look at your list

30 22 5842   Pouch for belt (dark brown)

and further down;
30 22 5842   Belt piece (to hold flint)

no worries...happens with me quite often too(when making long list of DS orders  :P)

AGH! And the darn thing doesn't let me edit it.

You know what's worse? I CHECKED. Gods. MUST be my old age. At least I'm sticking with that!  :-[

Thanks.

since your thread is not yet very long, perhaps you could quickly announce a one-liner errata?
(and PM Heather to correct her database too before too many people start to order the wrong parts :P)

Well, only from home - don't have the pics here...

24 hour limit on post edits. Had to bring it in a while back when someone was being a bit silly. ;)

I can edit it your list. Just tell me which number or description needs to be changed. :)

Will do - but that limit is a pain... Like for trade lists for example... Not handy at all. Though I understand the point if someone's being stupid.

I'll look at the pics tonight, hopefully, and email you ;)

I'm drawing up the inventories now - the numbers are correct, it's just that the descriptions are inconsistent. I've gone with "Pouch for belt". The one in 5103 one just happens to have a flint blade in it.

No, the flint is part of that other set, is not part of the thing that goes in the belt.. of that I'm sure ;)

EDIT: ok, not THAT OLD. Heather is right - part numbers are correct, and the correct "description" is "Belt piece (to hold flint)"

(Sylvia, can you edit that here and in the PROCESS? Thanks)

Sorry for the confusion. I checked the numbers, not the names :(

(Pizza here, gotta go - Portugal plays an important game with Denmark now!)

Right, yes; the flint is part of 30 51 9370.  It's just shown being put in the pouch, to show that it fits.

Yep, though IMO, it looks a bit odd..

Perfect, thanks - sorry for the confusion.

We lost. We didn't play. We were lucky it was 2 and not 5. Gods. Tomorrow, no football talk here. There goes a golden chance for our (dis)government to peacefully announce more things to ruin everyone. On the plus side, pizza was good.

sorry for causing a flurry of posts like ants scurrying to repair a hole in the wall :P thats PF efficiency!

thanks everyone!
and Tahra,
your initial post with a 'shortlisted-list' shows how well you know us customisers
....I hope PM inventory-quantity-management staff can read customisers/collecter' minds too so that we do not deprive kids needing to replace these few  parts later :P

Well, if people want the "big part" of the set, they'll buy the freakin set, right? We'll need extra klickys to fill in the ranks... and there's really no smaller set we could buy repeats of for that purpose... (Who THINKS of these things in playmobil?! Each day I'm MORE convinced they don't like money.)

Most kids who break or lose those parts in the first place won't mind or care about it anyways.

maybe someone will want to build a herd of mammoths :P

and Tahra, I assume the flint's neck(for holding/inserting into the carrier) is too fat to be inserted into the spear handles? (and assuming the necks of the spear's flint is narrower) meaning I cant swop the flint head with the flint-spearhead on the handles? they look almost the same from afar but they must be different sizes for PM to make 2 different moulds.

As for the mammoths, I believe it would be cheaper to but the big/little set than to order... (though I'd love to get a second brown one...)

I'll have to check that with the flint - the "head" is different than the spears... it's bigger. But I think the "handles" are all alike, since they can hold the spearheads too...

Something else to do on the weekend.. if I remember  :-[

Check the picture I attached. (understand now finally that you did not see the pictures in my reviews, sorry it took me so long)

thanks a lot conniefrere!
...you saved Tahra a bit of homework this sunday :P

I was thinking "luckily you didnt use imageshack for this"
(until I read...would it be too much to ask you to just attach such pics in your reviews for those prehistoric sets too....just repeat all pics? there are several members who similarly see only frogs like me and its so frustrating to half understand what you guys are talking about)

...so I see here, the flint has a blunt head while the 2 spear tips are more pointed...their necks look about the same diameter...are you able to confirm this by fitting the flint into the end of the spear handle?

Do you see the pics on the PROCESS? I'm quite sure I took a pic of these.. Ah - here: PIC (http://www.playkingdoms.com/temp/playmoproc/stoneage06.jpg)

I'm really quite sure they will all fit in the poles.

thanks! very clear photo(luckily not imageshack or I'll go into imageshock :P)
please enlighten me Tahra...is 'PROCESS' another name for 'REPORT&REVIEW'? I cant see all imageshack photos(I've joined imageshack to no avail 8}and wont bother anymore)

you're probably right...their necks look too similar in diameters...no point PM setting diameters with such a small difference ;)

The PROCESS is me TRYING to organize my playmomountains.. I'm posting the progress (or lack of it) on this thread: link (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=8205.0)

There's pics of all the stone age stuff there too..

I usually upload pics to my site, not to third party ones. I'm a bit of a control freak, me thinks.  :-[

WOH! WOOH!! where do you live Tahra?! can I come over to play...err, I mean help :P
any of your children share your interest?
your PROCESS thread is like a CNN daily news to me ;D

btw are the cavemen stickers plastic or paper only? (my viking shield stickers have started to unfurl already :'( (and I agree, the cave drawings should be playmo-style too...there's no need for realism all of a sudden)

Me thinks I need all the help I can get.. If you're ever in Portugal, gimme a call ;)

....CHILDREN!? You think I'd let THOSE around my playmobil?! Not a chance.

I didn't put the stickers, so I really don't know of they're that "harder" type... I found them a bit weird, especially the hands. But I think we will use a few, at least...
