Hi Folks,
I planned to build a camera car for my trains.
I found an old ugly chinese copy of G-gauge freight waggon.
I took a rotary tool to remove the unnecessary walls, so far so good.
But the first round on the tracks was frustating: the car starts to jump over the track switches and on the third switch it derailed....
Here“s the video of the desaster:

Next try will be with an old Playmobil car....
The yellow car was directly thrown into the bin.
Regards
schluss

Every plan has its drawback. Keep up the good work :)

I wonder might more weight help? not sure how much it can handle but it works for me whenever I have a train jumping... 8}

No, more weight was no solution.
I put a great amount of plumb into the car.
The major problem was pure quality of the wheels...

but of course putting a proper camera will make a lot of difference . very interesting project. I wonder if the flat 4106 wagon will work well with a bit of string round holding the camera etc ??? ??? ???.. just an idea ;) ;)
