Mint in sealed box: MISB. 3667s are very easy to come by on ebay, so there isn't really a need to open a brand new one. Then again ... Ive seen people in here open MISB 3632s and so on, so ...

 ::) ::) ::) :)

To each his own I guess.

Then again you might argue that you might as well have a couple of stones in your box, for all the good that a MISB set does.

For me a misb has the following nostalgic notion... next to my parents house was the biggest and oldest toyshop in town. It closed down back in 2003  :( I will never forget going down the basement where all boys toys were and staring for hours at the boxes... something these days is not that easy, since most toy shops such as that one are closing down or have little left, and big toy stores chains have taken over, where boxes without personality are stuck on shelves... at least these old ones, even thought they did not have the very early diorama pics, still have a magic on them  :love:

ANd now that you mention it, I never had a complete 3632... just the make and female klickies... must look into it...

Yes. Nostalgia plays a part. But so does the possibility of an investment  :P

(not that I would sell any of my MISBs, mind you).

well people prepare to cry cos i trow away the box :/
1.) it was rotten apart, old and in really BAD collision
2.) im doing house reconstruction so every extra box is stuff i need to clear and i dont have space to store it
3.) i never keep the boxes it takes to much space to have them all stored
 sorry didnt want to break your hearts hehe

my philosophy on boxes is that they keep the toys safe until i get to them.. and unless they look really neat... what do i need it for... i'm never selling this stuff anyway :)
