Title: Garbage Truck parts - help needed
Post by: tahra on September 29, 2011, 09:45:58: During the PROCESS, I found an an incomplete yellow garbage truck 3470 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?set=3470)... It's missing at least the wheels on the side and whatever makes the cans go up, and the cover in the back.

I think it's the same as the more recent 3780 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?set=3780)... But I can't figure out the part that is the lid/cover of the back - where the cans are emptied (does this make sense?)

I THINK these are the parts, but I'm not sure about that last one - is it the cover I want, maybe on a sprue with the lifting mechanism?

30 06 4140 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-06-4140) - Crank with wheel for lifting bins into truck (x2?)

Does anyone have the instructions for it? Maybe it's clearer there.

Post by: tahra on October 02, 2011, 16:40:04: I know it was rereleased, what I can't figure out is if that partnumber is the lid of the back.. I have the back part, that is set on a "hinge" on top.. I'm just missing the lid (besides the "wheels" and that thing between them, but that seems clear)

Ah, could be that one.. You think it's included in that part ref?

That's why I was looking for someone who had the instructions - maybe it's more obvious there.
