Perhaps I've shown similar looking guys before, I'm not sure 8} ;D
Anyway, I've updated 2 guys from my collection with the new kneetrousers-with-stockings-legs...

Great use of modern klicky torsos Erwin!!!
-
Thanks Panos :)
But I suppose you're not so thrilled about the legs/pants?
It was the dresscode of the era though (see the additional historical pics of uniforms in the French captains' thread ;) )

I like the use of pants here. I see their historical accuracy, it just did not seem right on the captains, but after your explanation, Erwin, I can understand their use :yup:

I think they are both fantastic!

yeah... he looks so Venecian to me

VERY nice! Perfect for "civilian" medieval scenes.

Very good customs, Erwin, but I'm not sure that the first one really looks like a nobleman, maybe a personal servant, the major domo perhaps.
The "barley twist" cane held by the second figure really looks good and makes him look like a dandy.
-
the first one is wonderfull , i agree with playmofire : he look like a servant .
-
They look great Hadoque! Those pants are really great in that use, perfect, actually!
-
thanks folks!
Yes, the 1st one is a little less "noble" then the 2nd figure ;D
My idea was not to use the 1st one as a servant though, but as a middle-class civilian, while the 2nd one indeed is a "dandy" as Playmofire suggested. :)

That would work well, too, but remember that the nobleman's personal servant could be very influential and powerful so it was an important role.
