Title: FONTS FOR RESCUE VEHICLES
Post by: cowabounga on September 18, 2011, 15:21:50
Hi!
Does anybody know what font PM uses for the "112" on the Rescue vehicles like on this one: http://collectobil.com/catalogue/items/3177.htm ???

I'm working on a project for Luciano and can't find the right font, not even approaching...
Thanks for your help!

Arnaud

PS: I have a Mac...

It is Helvetica lettering.

Thanks BB! I was hoping you'd know!
I'll try this when I get back home.
Best,
Arnaud

Glad to be of help, Arnaud. I use Gothic & Helvetica style lettering on my Playmobil vehicles & figures, but I used to use only vinyl Helvetica letters & numbers for my actual personal firefighting gear.

Helvetica's a perfect match! Thanks again, Bill!

Thanks for that, Bill.  I guess the current engines use the same.
