Welcome to my place! ;D
-
backviews...
-
More details from the back, groundlevel...
From left to right: income hall and luxurious dining/festivity-room
-
1st floor upstairs;
from left to right: office/work-room and living-room
-
...
-
2nd (top) floor: sleeping quarters
As this is supposed to be in the early 18th century, there is no seperate bathroom but just a tub including in the bedroom.
Oh, about a toilet: we discussed what happened in those days in another thread... ;D
The 4th pic shows a "visitor". It isn't Bianca Castafiore's greatgreatgrandmother (Tintin-comicbook joke), but a certain timetravelling French Emperor's wife... ;)

As for a kitchen: that will be in a seperate building at a backcorner of the mansion. I've still to set it up, but I will use the yellow DS-frameworkhouse for that purpose, the wall's colours should be quite similar.
In the garden there will be the yellow DS-pavillion, but that one is stored in boxes right now, along with 2 DS-victorian fences I'm gonna use to connnect the pavillion to the back of the mansion.
I hope you like my housing-project, any comments or ideas are most welcome! :)

That's a great building, Hadoque :o! I like all of the details in the rooms!

It looks very good Hadoque,
I love all the little details, like the ship in front of the window in the living room
Look forward to seeing the kitchen addition.

-
monsieur Hadoque likes to live very well! :D
-
Nice crib! ;D  I like the pirate ship on display in the living room! very Hadoque-esque. :P

i only miss rin tin tin ...
nice mansion hadoque
-
Very smart and comfortable arrangement Hadoque!!! Some very interesting details there!!!
-
Thanks everyone!
are you planning to expand it? moulinsart size?
I've been thinking about it, but I don't have the time for it now. I'd also need a 2nd 5301 for the parts to build a "Moulinsart/Molensloot"- Tintin Castle. But it certainly would be doable (with some cutting an glueing I suppose) ;)

Great work Hadoque! I really love how your avatar is really your project as well. With your recent adventures with medieval customs, will we see a time traveling Hadoque?
-
A fine residence! Lovely to see 'your' place :)
-
Beautiful job! So much thought went into each room and they are so cleverly displayed. Love the suit of armor and the manequin, they are both great touches. ;) Can't wait to see the next installment!

I just missed JANSEN en JANSEN and prof ZONNEBLOEM

Great house, very upscale. I really like some of your room arrangements.
-
Nicely furnished mansion, Erwin! I really like the personal naval and medieval touches that you put into it. Will this be your Caribbean governor's mansion?
I have a 5301 with the matching pavilion and fence but I haven't yet assembled them. I want to create a center entrance to make it look like a Georgian house, but given the limitations of the parts, that might be difficult. I'm considering using two flanking entrances, but that may make it look too much like a row house. ???
-
Great House…but where is the Loch Lomond ? :)
-
Will this be your Caribbean governor's mansion?
Yep :yup:
Great House…but where is the Loch Lomond ? :)
François de Hadoque drinks rum, Loch Lomond (whiskey) is his greatgreatgreatgrandchild Archibald Haddock's favourite drink ;)

The details are done very well! Excellent work on combining different elements to convey blended decorations, promoting a very stylish & lavish atmosphere! :wow:
-
It looks great, you turned that classic mansion into a great home for this captain. :)
The only thing missing is his portrait. Maybe its possible to find and print a picture of the portrait as seen in the comics, and use it for a playmobil scaled portrait? ;)
-
some more & better (+ updated) shots...
-
And from the pavillion in the garden...
-
The pavilion is such a great addition, especially when Spring is in the air and the outdoors beckon! :yup: Nice job of staging Hadoque. :)9

Thanks for the new pics, Erwin. :)
-
Very nicely done! That dining room upstairs is stunning
In which set can you find the miniature ship? Is it a micro-set?
-
Wow! What a wonderful home, and so much to see in each room. I dashed through each photo so quickly, as I was anxious to see the next one, now I will go back and enjoy each one again, and more slowly.
