Title: Pirate theme officers
Post by: Elric on September 07, 2011, 00:12:08
Not sure what these are.  I was just trying to figure out how to work these in my redcoat army.  Any ideas?

Oeh, I had the same problem with those guys....

I had 4 companies of 12 men dressed in the yellowish uniforms, I called them Austrians (but not really historically correct...)

I traded all of them with grey southern uniforms and made a New York regiment (also to be used as Saxon army)

What you could do is make drummers out of them! but the problem, they were dressed in reverse facing colours

that happens to me too, after customizing some awesome clickies, you're left over with a bunch of frankenstein klickies with all the leftover parts you didn't use on the awesome ones....  though your yellow officers look quite good to me.

I have about 4 or 5 of those green pirates too that have been stripped (i stole their beards and hats), though my versions of that green pirate are the ones that come with the even less transferrable peg leg.

your yellow guys seem like french privateers to me for some reason.

i like them :)

Thank you for the idea!!! :!:
You don't mind if I use it do you? :-[

Elric, maybe you can use these for French generals or officers?
As for the man in green?
Just use him as a pirate would be my 'brilliant' plan. ::)
That is what I would do with the scraps left over from my Napoleonic customs. ;D

I like them as French officers, although they could work as any number of European officers.  The green one could either be a pirate or a civilian ship captain.
