If you used that how did you cover the holes at the side? Maybe you used a prussian helmet?

sorry guys...just got up  ;D another holiday today  :P

and tonguello's spot on the first time...even guessed that i used the darker grey helm.

@WK, those helms have pegs for the visor holes so it was easy just cutting off the pegs...something i refused to do when making samurai helmets...you see, I keep compromising my own rules and someday rubbing all the prints off tattooed pirates wont be painful (for me  :lol:)

@WoT, the picklehaube is too small and the ear covers will have to b extended..furthermore, there's not enough material to shape the front 'peak'
