Very cool! But I can think of one or two war themes this might go with... ;D
How do you take them apart? I have a football guy, I think it might be interesting to know how. :)
-
by brute strength, WoT...i only cannabalised their collars
....will need to wait for your ideas to be showcased....meanwhile they can only switch shorts with each other....no lawn-mowing speedo dads for now :P

cheng:
WOW! Like soccer guy much better without the tab on his back side!
So are you saying that this is not a regular bottom half and won't fit with any other torsos? If not, guess we'll have to pain the top part them.
Glad you had the sheer brute strength to take him apart! Impressive!!! Are there any other figures with legs that move?
All my soccer guys became women upon arrival here....with new hair and some pleasant accessories for their new identities. Would work better under the witness protection program if I could change the soccer ball on their chests!
Cheers, Pgal

I see, That is unfortunate... :-\
You need the same to take apart the speedo dad which I did once.
His neck looks a little weird since then, but he still works. :)

playmogal & tahra,
will fit other torsos...show u a pic soon
dont know of any other swinging legs ;D
-
and Tahra....snip off the peg with clippers or something, then slowly slice off the stump (KIDS DONT DO THIS!) and sand using finer and finer sandpaper grades...look, cheap laser surgery
and they fit regular torsos except that I said to WoT that I can only swap footballers' torsos because my chinese dont like to show bare knees

Cheng:
I love the last photo with the two guys in shorts! Great hat, too! Cheers, Pgal

Thanks. Will have to try that. I hate those stupid tumors.

Too bad my football player was a key-chain and doesn't come part...
Nor does he have the kicking leg. :-\
Are there any green footballers... :toot:

hey WoT! i wish i could buy footballers without those kicking legs(I have bought those referrees and goalkeepers ;D)
do show us your key-chain and better still if you are able to show us his 'skeleton' without breaking them
...green?? now what can be on that full-of-ideas-mind i wonder ;D
@PrimusPilus, I cant find these very fine sandpapers in DIY or hardware shops here....in plastic modelling, we refer to them as emery paper...I used to think goldsmith shops use them...mine are so faded there's no nmbers behind...its much finer than '00' so much so you cant feel the 'sand'...mine are leftover from my plastic modelling days...cant remember which shop i bought it from but I think western countries' DIY stores are better stocked...i should look for them again when i'm overseas :)

Yeah, I had one of those keychains too.... but I think I gave it to a kid. ??? It did have shorts and non-kicking legs. Mine was the female version.

and no pegs/tab to cut off....and no need for those green stand-plates too....isnt somebody using their legs for customising? (I have always dismembered all my key chains...of no extra value to me :P)
-
Yeah....it never even occurred to me that these shorts with non-kicking legs were so rare and useful.
