after this wonderful week-end in Luxembourg where I meet a lot of people and take a lot of photos, I propose you this link to our gallery to show you a dioramas. I hope it show you a real ambiance of this exibition :)

I'll try to post some tomorrow. Our favourites were:

- the Mississippi diorama with the cotton fields, labouror's campsites and an actual swamp

- the entire pirate diorama with the port, the city, giant ships...

- the Egyptians and an actual Exodus out of Egypt (with the sea split open!!)

A fantastic show. Some great ideas, I am always amazed by the creativity. Brubil's Egypt was my favorite from these photos but they are all wonderful

I think the bed is from 4253 - Royal Bedroom (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=4253) but the colour and head of the bed are custom made...

As they say on TV, I'm shocked and stunned. I love the whole pirate thing. I thought the town was fantastic until I saw the pirate island.
2 questions:

1.Are there prizes for best display?

2. How can anyone afford to do that on any salary less than 1million a year. 1 million anything.

Post by: Tiermann on September 02, 2011, 14:50:20: I meant to mention the Fun Park display too - It really is juts like the Fun Park in Zirndorf, just minus the HOB center building. Looking at the photos I could remember right where each spot was at in the real Fun Park. They did a great job with it. PLaymobil should really put it on display at the actual Fun Park

When me and my wife were taking in the details of the Egyptian diorama, my son (8 y/o) started to excitedly jump around us and pulling us to the next dio. It was the funpark and he was recognizing everything as we were there just a month earlier. That to me made it my favorite dioarama!!

There are many great Steck ideas in the castle as well so I think that was a close second tied with the Egyptians and.... they were all just so amazing!!!
