why playmobil has chosen the blue colour for it's boxes? does anyone know? the early sets had a lot of colours ,why they decided to use the blue colour only??
-
It is my understanding that at the time this (the bright blue) was a color that was not really being used that much and so the product in the bright blue boxes drew your eye and really stood out... of course blue is a lot more common packaging material now...

Somebody liked blue a lot?

i find it interesting that some of the victorian sets had lavender packaging (which I rather like), though I believe it was a marketing ploy to appeal to little girls wanting the victorian theme as a dollhouse toy.

i don't really know but when i was little i felt very excited when in a toy aisle all the PM sets would stand out because of the packaing color :confetti:

It's quite a distinctive colour. When in a toy store, you can tell, even from a distance, that there are PM for sale.
