Title: PM made the Wall Street Journal article about sleep differences!
Post by: playmogal on August 24, 2011, 15:20:16
Here is the cite to the WSJ article about sleep differences between women and men. The photo was of the 5302 Grande Mansion bedroom set and was larger in the real paper. It did not mention that this was PM in the photo.

Yup, those are two interesting faces! I took photos after I dug yesterday's paper out of the recycling bin outside. The page size is 23x12 (all measurements in inches...sorry but that is all my tape measure shows), the article measures 12 x 8.5, and the bed measures 4x5.

Not sure how they changed the faces as I cannot tell from the rough quality of the photo in the paper.

As to the legal issues, I was surprised that there was not an acknowledgement in today's paper saying it was PM. Having been trained as an attorney in the US, it seems to me that someone at the WSJ's legal department must be on vacation....or dead. And the folks at PM may be too busy to read anything but the business sections of the Journal or do not care about the Personal Journal section. PLAYMOBIL LEGAL DEPARTMENT, WHERE ARE YOU?

We very rarely see any mention of PM in the US media....I can't remember the last time I saw PM...period... and read the WSJ and skim the New York Times headlines daily. So what gives? Maybe that is why almost no one has heard of PM here.

I guess that PM will have to remain anonymous in the US....Pgal

You can see a bigger picture if you click on the one on the link...

Well spotted, Pgal! Interesting to see that, though it is probably illegal. I think the faces are photo shopped.

the faces/eyes are obviously photoshopped - i don't think the people in charge will bother to paint them. Sylvia has made sleeping klickies with photoshop - i've tried it and it's very easy

Luis,
I agree. Because the eyeballs are all that is missing.
In answer to your question about the red alarm clock, yes, it is in 5331 the Grande Bedroom. My favorite thing about this set is that the two lamps on the nightstands light up when you push the button on them and then turn off automatically. Makes this a realistic looking bedroom suite.
The furnishings for the 5302 Grande Mansion are definitely an improvement over those in the Modern and Suburban Houses, which I am now partially furnishing with Grande Mansion sets rather than the older sets that came with those houses.
Hope this helps, Pgal!
