Title: A few pieces to identify
Post by: flatcat on August 23, 2011, 10:37:47
Here we have a few pieces that I cannot find what set they are from:

They are all definately playmobil, with the exception of the grey rod thing which might not be :-\

(http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/2232/s108.jpg) (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/838/s108.jpg/)

The white thing appears to be a battery cover, but I can't think what set it would be from. It has the usual Playmobil markings on it.

The pink handkerchief is from these sets:
30 07 6640 - Handkerchief (http://www.playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30%2007%206640)

The blue pieces look like the roof pieces from a toy train?   But PlaymoDB doesn't show them in blue.

The brown jousting pole is from that set as well, so it must be from the 3652

Ah yes, train roofs. Perhaps they are from an advent calender?

Thanks for your help :)

I think the beaded choker is this one:
30 08 5700 - Necklace, beaded choker (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-08-5700)
Do you have any of those sets that it might have come from?

The white one looks like the battery cover for the old electric emergency light (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-67-0300).
There was a version without a screw to fix the cover... :)

Yes they are definitely those:
30 61 2140 - Toy train roofs and smokestack (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-61-2140)
They look pretty blue on the back cover picture, though. :)

And the dark gray part looks pretty much like this flagpole, even though yours looks like altered and the one end...
30 07 7330 - Flagpole, small, knob on top (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-07-7330)

On a second thought, I would claim the black trough and the "flagpole" are not playmobil. :)

best,

The black(?) thing with handles looks like a version of the tray thing from the old bakery.

Ah yes, the underwater one :)

To me it looks like this:
30 02 0760 - Box, large, slanted ends, handles (http://www.playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30%2002%200760)
except that the one in the photo is black.   ???
(and maybe the sides are not as slanted?  I can't tell from the angle of the photo.)

That one was brown, and slightly different in design

If it's not playmobil then it could be PlayBig as I seem to remember seeing such a piece

Another challenge from the master... hmmm I agree on the lue tops, they must be from a trAIN.
Amir, the flag poles you indicate are shorter and thicker than this grey one, so deffinately not a flagpole... the black thingy seems to be like the one you indicate Rona, but not sure where it comes from  ???

My one is slightly different in design, and isn't as deep as the brown one

If you give me a mo, I will take a comparison shot of the black/brown trugs together

Ok here is a comparison shot:

(http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/1156/s110x.jpg) (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/820/s110x.jpg/)

Although the more I look and feel it, the more it doesn't feel like Playmobil, which makes me think that it is almost certain PlayBig or similar

Oops... the brown one is deeper and the handles are shorter.   I looked at someone's PlayBig fansite but I didn't spot the black one there.

There's just the black hand mirror to identify :-\

Every set seems to be a gold mirror

well... why a cowboy would have a mirror to look at his target if it is not for a circus act?

Can you imagine him at a duel giving his back to his opponent and looking at him though the mirror??  8}

Why does everyone post pictures of things to identify when it's my baking week?  I'm always too busy then to look  :'(
I did know two of them though  ;D

I must admit I had never noticed this either and always wondered why a cowboy would have a mirror. :-[ I guess that also explains why he would be wearing such a fancy outfit!

So he shots backwards then?

If he's looking in the mirror for the target, then surely he fires backwards :-\

 Yeah, rather than firing at the mirror!

Yes he's posed with the rifle aiming backwards on the box picture, I just never picked up on it before. :-[
