Life sometimes gives you treats and sometimes gives you sorrow.
Gis visited western Washington in mid-April and that was definitely a treat!
Unfortunately, our family suffered some sorrow shortly after his visit and I never got around to posting the photos of his visit. But, now it's time to tell about the fun we had!
We met him at a mall near his hotel and had fun with introductions and having some lunch. Here is a photo of MamaDragon, Gis (a real human!), and DragonHunter (who is never looking in the right direction to catch a dragon) (oh, DragonHunter is my husband.)

And Gis brought treasures with him! (Okay, I admit, I took this photo after I got home and could stack the boxes neatly so that I could pose with them.)

After lunch, we left the mall (there was no Playmo to buy) and went down the street to Toys R Us. Gis found some great sets to buy. (He'd already puchased a new piece of luggage so that he'd have room to take home all his Playmo.) :) Then we went on an adventure to find more stores. After discovering that one of the stores that we'd found online wasn't really there, we traveled to Tacoma and went to another Toys R Us that had some different sets. And then we found a really nice toy store that had a HUGE wall of Playmo. We bought some more. :)
Then it was time to take Gis back to hotel and time for the Dragon Family to go back home.
We had a great visit. (Even if it took me four months to post about it!)
Come back anytime Gis. There are more toy stores for us to discover!

I'm sorry to hear you've suffered some sorrow in your family, Rona. I wish you and your family all the best.

It was such a cool roadtrip, specifically trying to find the store that didn't exist (anymore)!!!
Thanks a lot for a great day Rona, I'll surely let you know if I am in your neck of the woods again :-)

Yeah, that store finder on the playmobil website stinks! It once took me to the home of someone who has an ebay store, best I could figure. :lol:

Hi Rona
Thanks for sharing about this meeting!
And Gis really looks.... Dutch ;D
How did he manage to get back on a plane after visiting all those toystores?? 8}
It seems Dragons have an appetite for collectors from "the low countries" ... Wasn't there once a "little Flemish piglet" (from another forum) that got lured to your place, flamed.... and never seen again?! :omg: :lol: ;)
All the best,
"Mr. Hehehe" :)
