this reminds me a scene from a popular movie... I'll only remind you the last sentence as the middle ones can rise a lot of controversies

''...dinosaurs eat man... woman inherits the Earth...''

excellent photo story!!!

Wow, that's really powerful and poignant, Jeremy! So true and so sad. It really doesn't need any words; the pics said it all.

thanks for your coment !

sure it's not so funny but sometimes it's better to know reality to change things if we can ... as Deproge said "we can joke with anything but not with anybody" Humour sometimes describe sad things ....  :-[

I intend to resume in fews picture the fact humain being is not so clever than he apears .  :P

It tooks only 5000 years for the man to destroy the planet while other species are there since near the begining of life and i hope the next species will do better than humain beeing do ....   ;D

 ;)

Great pictures Jeremy. Your use of parts is very interesting, specifically the Giraffe skeleton.

Wow! Very heavy story and quite well done! The bones are spectacular!
Makes you think, which is wonderful!  Ideas come to mind such as.....
Just what are we doing to this planet?
If more people stayed home and played with their PM, maybe the planet would be better off?
Our hearts go out to the kind folks in Norway after such a traumatic week, Pgal

Yes, man is definitely NOT at the top of the food chain. All we have to do is hike a bit into nature and face extinction by so many animals. Or just destroy our environment and face the same outcome....death. Your photos tell this story quite vividly.

When you look at all the wars mankind has started, it does make you think about the negative impact of this destruction. And if you are a parent, it makes you question if there will be a living world left for our children and grandchildren to enjoy. Aunts and uncles also face these questions for their nieces and nephews. Grandparents live with it each day.

Thanks for a very thought provoking story, Pgal

A couple of picture to depict what the man with a small "m" has done to the ever generous and ever forgiving Mother Nature  >:(

I personally believe that there is still hope to save the "blue Earth"  :cloud9:

I would like to share with you one of my favorite videos from a French Artist called Zazie who depicts chilling figures of precisely what man has done to Mother Nature, a music video like no one else, brilliantly filmed and so true in the message it delivers. It is I believe the perfect illustration to Jeremy's topic.

It is called :

I am a man ( by Zazie )

I am a Prehistoric Man
I was a Monkey or a Fish
Upon Earth, in all seasons
I walk around in circles, in circles

I was alone then in millions
I am a Man with a Lion heart
At war in all seasons
I walk around in circles, in circles

I am a Man full of ambitions
Beautiful car and beautiful house
but in the bedroom and the lounge
I walk around in circles, in circles

I am making love and the revolution
I am walking around the question
I am evolving, backwards, backwards
Yes, I walk around in circles, in circles

You see, I am not a man
I am the king of all illusions
In the end may I be forgiven
as I am the King, the king of Fools

I have rebuilt the World my way
Melted in gold and in concrete
Body in a cage, heart in prison
I walk around in circles, in circles

Sitting in front of my Television
I am from THE MAN the negative
Pure product of consumption
but my bank balance is up, is up

You see, I am no Man
I am the king of all illusions
but may I be forgiven
As I am the King, the King of Fools

I am the Master of Fire, the Master of the game
The Master of the World, and see what I have done with it
A frozen Earth, a burnt Earth
Man's Earth let down by Men

I am a Man at the bottom of the Wall
like a Mistake from Mother Nature
Upon Earth, with no real reason
I walk around in circles, in circles

I am a Man and I measure
All the Horror of my own Nature
For all my Sins, ma punition forever will be
To walk around in circles, in circles

(The story slightly reminds that movie about the Easter Island ...)

It's very well conceived!

Sad but true, as Damo said ...
