We’re back with Group G now after all the excitement with Lord Alderran of Avelina
Leading off for Group G will be the Mighty Mysterioso

Jousting against Anrgeir the Viking from Krull

-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/G/1/mj-2-g-1-3.jpg)
The first run looks steady for both knights, with well centered shield hits for them both
Score 1-1
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/G/1/mj-2-g-1-4.jpg)
Another shield hit for the Viking, but Mysterioso has a high miss.
2 points Angeir the Viking, 1 point the Mighty Mysterioso
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/G/1/mj-2-g-1-5.jpg)
That’s a third shield hit for the Viking, he’s turning out to be a really solid competitor. It looks like Mysterioso had another miss.
With 3 points the win goes to Arngeir the Viking of Krull
Mysterioso hasn’t been looking as strong as usual this event?
Well his arch-enemy Sir Cedric Foxworthy was unable to make the Tourney, off visiting Princess Willanda’s castle I believe. Some knights need that rivalry to really get fired up and do their best in competition.

We’re going to go now to our correspondent on the field Arty who has an interview with Sir Paul E Merous
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/G/1/mj-2-g-1-6.jpg)
Sir Paul you were in the match with Lord Alderran, can you tell us anything about that?
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/G/1/mj-2-g-1-7.jpg)
Well I don’t think anything unusual happened really. My shield guard had been adjusted down after yesterday’s match and I think that may have been causing me to lance a bit high. I definitely missed Lord Alderran that first run, but hit his head on the second. It didn’t feel like a very hard hit from my end of the lance.
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/G/1/mj-2-g-1-10.jpg)
You’ve been jousting for a number of years now Sir Paul, have you seen this sort of thing before?
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/G/1/mj-2-g-1-9.jpg)
It’s certainly not unheard of. The results of getting knocked off a horse can vary drastically. Sometimes it’s no different than any other fall, but if you land wrong you can have serious injury.
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/G/1/mj-2-g-1-10.jpg)
Thank you Sir Paul, back to you Vanidel
-

Thank you Arty and Sir Paul

Moving on to the second match for Group G here in Round 2, we have local hero Sir Sigismund of Sweetwater
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/G/2/mj-2-g-2-1.jpg)
-
Jousting against Sir Wolfram
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/G/2/mj-2-g-2-2.jpg)
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/G/2/mj-2-g-2-3.jpg)
Two shield hits there, but a close call for Sir Sigismund as he barely raises his shield in time to avoid being hit in the head.
Score 1-1
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/G/2/mj-2-g-2-4.jpg)
It looks like Sir Wolfram’s horse was a little wide there, a miss for both
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/G/2/mj-2-g-2-5.jpg)
A shield hit for Sir Wolfram again but a high miss by Sir Sigismund
The score is now 2 for Sir Wolfram and 1 for Sir Sigismund
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/G/2/mj-2-g-2-6.jpg)
Sir Sigismund swings his shield forward at the last moment and brings his lance up as Sir Wolfram is almost pass. A great play on his part resulting in a solid arm hit and 2 points. Sir Wolfram missed
The win goes to Sir Sigismund with 3 points to Sir Wolfram’s 2

Group H is coming out on the field now.
The first match will be Baron Roderick Blackthorn
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/H/1/mj-2-h-1-1.jpg)
-
Versus Sir Seamus Flynn
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/H/1/mj-2-h-1-2.jpg)
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/H/1/mj-2-h-1-3.jpg)
Both get a good shield hit this run, it looks like they are getting a feel of each other’s strength there.
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/H/1/mj-2-h-1-4.jpg)
It’s been the day for head strikes today, with Baron Blackthorn swinging his lance up above Sir Seamus’ shield at the last moment and getting a glancing blow to Sir Seamus head. As is often the case with these head strikes, Sir Seamus missed.
That’s a win for Baron Blackthorn, his second in the competition.
-
Our final match for the day will be between Sir Christoph of Riverway
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/H/2/mj-2-h-2-1.jpg)
-
and Lord Etir Sayest
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/H/2/mj-2-h-2-2.jpg)
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/H/2/mj-2-h-2-3.jpg)
It looks like Lord Etir is going to make a shield hit here, but he just misses. Sir Christoph stays steady in his run and gets a one point hit.
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/H/2/mj-2-h-2-4.jpg)
Another steady shield hit from Sir Christoph, but he doesn’t keep his shield up high enough and Lord Etir slides his lance above it for a touch to Sir Christoph’s shoulder.
That counts as a body hit there.
Score tied now at 2 points each
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%202/H/2/mj-2-h-2-5.jpg)
Wow!
It looks like we’re ending the day the way we started, with a powerful unhorsing!
Lord Etir gets his lance under Sir Christoph’s shield and unhorses him gaining the win.
-
The results in our last two groups today have a win for Sir Sigismund of Sweetwater, and his second win for Arngeir the Viking of Krull in Group G. In Group H we have both Lord Etir Sayest and Baron Roderick Blackthorn gaining their second wins of the competition.
Thanks for joining us today, there’s one more day of Group Round competition tomorrow. See you then!
