Ive just been treated too one and although its lovely-its just not big enough for what Im looking for:(((
The previous owner has already added another grey floor to it so I dont want it any higher.
Is there anyway to extend it sideways?
Or even combine it with the victorian mansion, for which I have lots of bits:)))
Many thanks for the advice in advance;))))

Yes, here are two ideas.

   I love the second one JOe.
But can you expand the upper floors horizontally? I have my 5301 in a bucket :P right now so I can't look but I don't think there is a way. :(
-
how you made the second joe? :hmm: :hmm:

in a bucket?? why? ??? :hmm:
-
I meant a plastic container, storaged. ;D but don't the name of those huge Tupperware

how you made the second joe?
I used parts from the pavilion to make both. The second doesn't have an attic floor.

Gaston,
Since there aren't any 2 unit wall sections (except the conservatory ones,) in the 5301 parts, I suppose you could use parts from the 5300 and paint all the house another color to match. You would definitely need floor sections from either the 5300 or 5305 for the horizontal extensions, but I think it could be done.
Good luck.

Im not trying JOe ;D... I have too much in my hands with the 5300
I was just thinking that with the 5301 original parts it is not possible. That is the only thing I don't like about that house. :(
Thanks anyway.
-
This might work. :hmm:
You would need an extension floor for 5301 and some 5300 or 5305 base, floor and roof parts though.

you just made that? that was fast! you are great!
yeah that's a good solution, thank you Joe!

I wouldn't have been able to sleep until I figured it out . . .

WOWZERS!!!!!
Thanks for all the ideas guys;))))I was thinking that the only way would be to use some bits from my victorian mansion.
Im going to dismantle the 5301 this morning with my little helper and 'get amongst it' as they say:)))
Joe-did you really 'just' do that?!?Cricky thats amazing!!!I find I need at least a week of just staring and looking at my houses before I can even think of moving bits around.
You must really know your playmo stuff!!!
Thanks again for the ideas peeps-its fab to know help and advice is always on hand here :)))
Best wishes

Thanks Issyx. I have played around a lot with the mansions, but have much to learn about the other themes. :-[
You will need a 2 unit base unit that is open on both sides on the main house in order to connect another base unit. I used two 30 26 2410 (3 units wide, open frame) that I trimmed top and bottom to support the floors from the main house to the addition. Hope you have a lot of fun with it. I know I did. ;D

how did you make the roof fit on the walls ? you cutted them?
-

yes .. even this .... but why ?? you don't want it any more?? :'( :'( even if it's not compared with 5300 :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow: it's a nice house :-\
-

Yes, they had to be trimmed to nestle up to the side of the main house's wall. I used a dremel to shape them.

I storage big sets because I don't have room to display everything. And as my 5300 is a lot bigger I can only display that one.

Ok Ive done it!!
Ive made the 5301 bigger by adding bits from the victorian mansion!!
Im having such trouble resizing my pics though to upload them:(((
Does anyone know any tricks to get pics on here?

I joined some of the victorian mansion on.Its only my first attempt so please be aware that there will be doors/windows/entrances that in the wrong places.Once I know I have all the bits and bobs I require than I can go ahead rearranging:))
This is the ground floor.I had to trim the bits down on the brown tiled floor so it butt-up to the grey floor if you know what I mean.
