That's a lovely train Panos, a great start to your collection - how long before you give in and get those extra tracks - even if they aren't in your immediate plans!

Glad to see you got the train bug also Sir Wolf !!!!! The western train is by far the best looking playmo train and its a great buy, i think its one of the best looking sets actually with very good attention to detail and very realistic with good solid built quality . Congragulations on a great buy , once again
Also the train station is such a lovely set these two go so well together !!!!
As for the cat i am sure it wont be long till she rides that train without you knowing it sir !!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
great purchase Panos! :D congrats
-
Thank you for your kind words Alex, Tim, Elaine, George and Luis!
I've never thought of getting a train, it was a far away idea, but this was a great opportunity!!

Just get a western passenger wagon, a western cattle wagon and a western freight wagon and the water tank and nothing else for a wetsern train needed !!! I have spotted some good bargains on western wagoins recently as wetsernr seem to be geetign a bit of hype in ebaying playmobil ( personal view )
Actually i came very close in getting another western train but went fot the 4052 instead which i think looks super ( will be on permanent display in its box ion playmoden 2 ) so now i only have to buy 3 train stations and about 35 diffderent wagons
-
Its a future plan dear George...lots of other projects have priorities ;D
-
Congrats with this train!!
I think it is the nicest one Playmobil ever made! :)
Noo, I won't get me one myself. I won't. I won't. I... won't. I... ehrr??? will. I will. I will.
Actually, no... I won't. At least not now. Perhaps next year. Or next month. Or tomorrow ;D

It looks good, although I pity the poor indians who are caught in the middle of the war going on there.
Great stuff, although I still would love to see your own western collection seperatly with the train to see how it fits in. It really seems like the kind of set that ties it all together. :)

Yes we never do something in a small scale...   The Playmobil Hellas PR Manager saw my placing an indian canoo at the far end of the river and told me ''what? without indians? it would be great to have them there!!'' ''In a moment'' I replied... and in a moment the whole union cavalry squeezed that poor canoo, and the the indians in it, in a tiny part of the river bank
I am planning on setting a small western diorama at home when I get these parts back from the funpark, so you'll have the opportunity to see them Rhalius :)

Yeap, pur western diorama is pretty squuueeeezed to say the least but still impressive though !!!!
Western train is the best , shame shame really they didint allow two motors like in the 4052 , the whole wetsern engine block dont have a motor only the coal wagon which is a shame really as it could use nicely this extra power !!
see our western diorama where its 100% complete with all of its wagons, train station and train station water tank, air mill etc etc
PS:I think Sir Wolf you should buy more track and lay a nice track all over your flat sir !!! it will be quite impressive sire !!! a train everywhere !!! i would but wife wouldnt approve i suppose so i can only set in the garden etc etc :'( :'( :'( :'(

great train, it was also my first train set...if you buy one train you will buy other trains....today I (I mean my kids) have 7 other trains....I sold only one...it was the 4029 boxed :'( but I had no choice....
now you have to complete it with different western wagon....
