are these types of dioramas one persons collection or a combination of many ?
It is quite large and even the trains seemed small to the overall size :o

This one looks like it was done on the floor, actually. So you can walk through it to right klickys in the center. However you have to really be in shape to spend that many hours crawling around on the floor to do a huge diorama like that.

This is the battle of Fredriksburg diorama from the PM euro convention 2011. MacLeod has a thread about it somewhere in the community events section. There are actually the collections of several people together (a link in MacLeod's thread leads to the list of participants).
They wanted to beat the world (or European?) record of clickies dispayed in a single diorama. Don't know if they eventually made it. We could ask shirona33, he joined this diorama with around a thousand horsemen...
Cheers,
Arnaud

I think it is set on tables. Look at the people passing by, you can't see their feet...

At the beginning of the video you can see their feet. It looks like there's a barrier around it.

The surrounding dioramas are also on the floor.
-
That's amazing! - thanks for the link!
Did anyone else notice the very large toy crocodile in the river with it's mouth open?
Damo :)

NOW I've seen it. Must be some kind of legendary croco they had there at that time?? Where's Frederiksburg anyway? If it's in Florida, then, maybe the croco is accurate...(sp?)
Cheers,
Arnaud
BTW, here's the link to the Euro convention. McLeod posted it sometime ago.

No, Frederiksburg is in Virginia, I think...
But no where near Florida anyway.
-
Alligators don't only live in Florida. They are extremely abundant in Louisiana also, and are found in marshy areas throughout the southeast part of the country, though the largest concentrations of them are in Louisiana and Florida because we have more swamps. Each state has about 1.5 million alligators. Virginia may be a little far north for them, however. They have them in North Carolina.

They will if you are not safe about what waters you go in.
