Hi everybody. Thanks for the nice welcome.

Knights/warriors are my favorite. My collection is mostly knights and vehicles. I would like to do some custom vehicles. I like seaplanes alot and have a rough sketch of what I'd like to make. I'm not as good as my dad is with wood crafting, so It won't be as good--but it'll be...different. Vehicle parts are more expensive to come by, so that will be slow going.

I'm working on a custom knight right now. He's almost done. Playmobil is out of the final part I need, so It will be a while yet.

I use my dad's computer sometimes because it's way faster than mine, so sorry if that causes a mis-post now and again from the wrong Jim:)

Do you also like Porco Rosso (http://www.wingsee.com/ghibli/porcorosso/) ... ???

Actually, I thought that your Freudian post was GREAT ...  ;D

Hello Knightmo

Welcome from Norway  :)

I do like Porco Rosso. I was the one who introduced my dad to the character. It was my idea to make the seaplane out of the boat top. I can't remember if it was always going to be Porco's plane but it turned out cool. I think that four seater boat in the add-ons section would make a nifty base for Gina's plane.

-wish I had the money to do all the custom stuff that comes to mind...

Keep pushing your dad, Jimmy ...

Ah ... Money $$$$

I'll bet that some of us here might be very interested in buying some sea planes (and old-time motor cars) built by the world famous Jimbo and Son Hand-Crafted Antique Vehicle Company (in the Playmobil tradition) ... ;)

All the best,
Richard

Thanks:)

I can certainly understand the time it takes to make a site. Many headaches involved. I hope to see your site soon, Seawarrior:)

The picture of my dad and moms cat seemed like good place holder until I can get some more stuff ;D

Actually, I have been already, Richard.
Associate of Arts degree from a graphic design school. I didn't learn a whole lot, aside from how to use computer programs. Art is subjective. Really subjective at the school I went to. The job placement stunk. Mostly, I hoped the illustration teacher would help me improve, but he just stamped a grade and I didn't get much out of it.
...anyway, that's how that goes 8}

I was sorry to read about your art school experience, Jimmy ... :(

It's obvious that you have a lot of talent!

Since you seem to love Playmobil, my suggestion would be for you to email Collectobart. (He's a member of this forum.) Show him your Playmobil customs, as well as some of your best art work, and then ask him for his advice.

Click HERE (http://www.playmobil.de/on/demandware.store/Sites-DE-Site/de_DE/Link-Page?id=GAME19) for an example of Bart's artwork.

All the best,
Richard
