...while I was in Germany.
By getting rid of most of the boxes I was able to squeeze it all into my suitcase for the return trip

Here it is spread out but the bags not opened yet

That's it for today. There will be reviews coming for some of the sets eventually. Lots of photos from the trip to sort through. I will post when the Playmo ones are online.
About the red Nessie - I managed to get one through the kind help of a new friend, but there weren't any available for purchase at the Funpark shop any more. I believe Amir still has one that may be up for grabs now that I have mine.
I should also say a big THANK YOU to Amir for placing my big parts order. I am now down to only needing 17 of the currently available animals to have one of each. That's I believe just over 700 different animals in my collection now.

Oh nice job!! I can't wait for the review of that 1.2.3 set you have! It's this one isn't it? I have become quite obsessed with the 1.2.3 sets; my 2nd daughter is turning 1 in a couple days and I have a big stash for her. ;)

And this one too! And the egg!! I like everything you got...except maybe the dinosaurs. Although my 6 year old would probably like them!

I like those different color dinos! And the red nessie!
-
I love the first picture! It reminds me of when my wife worked in Switzerland. She used to grab every new issues for me there before they were available in France. Nice haul! The red Nessie is awesome!
Cheers,
Arnaud

I really like the 123 forest set. I will put it on my review list. I am happy with just about everything. The only one that doesn't work too well for me is the new white laying cat. It has green eyes and looks wrong to me with eyes open like that, I prefer the older sleeping cat. The cloth piece for the basket is cool though. I really like the pigs and the new rabbits.
-
Ah! The wind mill and the green oldtimer were available in the funpark shop before 1st of june.
Interesting...
-
What a great haul, Tim!!! Congrats on your red nessie! The thing i zeroed in on was the pigs, though. I can't wait to get my hands on that set!
-
A very successful shopping spree, Tim. I look forward to the reviews.
-
The windmill!!! I can hardly wait for the windmill. Thanks for the photos, T.

Ah?! You were in Germany, Tim... You should have dropped by in Little Belgium; from an American perspective that's "just around the corner"! ;D ;)
Congrats on your purchases, I see you already got the DS-Western Mill and Oldtimer...
Did you see/buy any of the new DS-Redcoats as well?
-
Redcoats weren't available, neither was the bakery that I really wanted.
The car is very nice. I will do a review on it when I can. Right now I am working on a big update for Animobil with the pics of all the new animals plus some other adjustments.
-
Great haul! It look like you had much more in your shopping cart... :P
...or is this just the first load?! 8-)
Happy to see that you got your nessie! :)
best,
amir

Well done on aquiring such a fantastic haul Tim.
Looking forward to seeing a review of the car.
I love the little white monkeys - I hadn't seen those before, and the red nessie  I'm so jealous of that!

BTW What are the 17 animals you are still looking for?
-
Wow, awesome haul!! I can't wait to get one of those cars!! Thanks for the pics.
-
Well I only got 2 of the 6 horse series when I was there, so I still need the other 4. I can wait until they come available here next spring since I know they are coming. Most of the rest are 123 animals.
123 chicken and horse on bases from 6766
123 Lioness from the ark 6765
I will try DS order for those 3
then I am going to order from Playmo USA once I know for sure they are giving away the koala game. I need 3 of the 4 color koalas from the game, the 123 dark rabbit, 123 tan dog with spots, and 123 dolphin so that's 6 of them with that order.
The others are all older 123 animals - dog black with spots, dog brown with spots, white cow with black spots, fish blue, fish yellow, fish green
So that's the 19. There are a couple of possible others. I've heard of an older shark variation but haven't seen it yet, and there may be cream colored kittens but I'm still trying to track down where they came from - the newest barn set maybe?
Announced but not yet released are the prehistoric mammoths (2), baby mammoth, cave bear, saber toothed cat, wolf and the 2 colors of Pegasus. I got photos of all of those but the wolf while I was in Germany that will take temporary spots until I actually get them.
This is as close as I've ever been to having all of them. I'm beginning to think about where I could do a set-up and put one out of each all together for a big photo. At the moment that would be 702 different ones.
-
if i'd just know you were going to Germany...I want the go cart white easter egg :'(
anyway, i'm jealous of your shopping! :D  :D
-
The only egg they had on the shelf was the pink with the unicorn. Conveniently that was the only one I wanted. They will be out here next year I am sure.
-
yeah, i just didn't want to wait 6 months more ;D
i like the pink one too, i'll get it when it becomes available here
-
I could help you out with the koalas if you can't get them and I have a 123 fish but not sure if it would be classed as yellow or orange, (it's the one from set 6601) but you are welcome to it if it's what you want.

Have the oldtimer and the windmill.. I THINK. Guess I'll hold on to them for another decade. No water tower. I mean, just one ;)
Though... Green!? It should be BLACK!

Have at least a couple of those... There was a white one, and later a red one, right?
Had no idea they used to make cars that color. We always intended to paint one of the oldtimers black. The problem is we don't know how to.

I have an oltimer car, a mansion and the basic sets that can go with it ;D
-
Think I have most the first victorian batch.. There were a couple of stores that sold all sorts of junk, one for 300$ (about 1.5 EUR), the other for 1000$ (5 EUR). Many of the sets appeared on the first one - from the piano to the kids and women with the brown dog... The mounted soldiers too, I think.. And the cars appeared in the 1000 one.
If it was today, I would have bought ALL of them. Alas, at the time.. my sis bought 2 oldtimer cars and one truck, since she figured that if it was one of each, we'd both want the car... Wise of her ;)
